"I purchased a new power chair from Mr. Redman, at a cost of over $30,000.00. It was broke in the process of shipping it 3 times. It continues to break down, has never been right from the beginning, I asked for a refund he refused stating he already spent the money. I sued him in small claims court and won a judgement against him. I now have to pay another lawyer to try to collect on the judgement he claims he has no money to pay. While going through all this I found a welding and fabricating company who tried to repair chair, they advised chair built on bent frame with many many used parts. "I recently moved to the Tucson area and my power chair was in need of a motor repair so I called Redmans. Sam came out to my home the same day to pick up my chair. After evaluating the chair Sam gave me a quote for repairing and a quote for replacing the motor but also asked if the chair was meeting my needs otherwise. My chair, a Quickie Rumba that I purchased in 2012, in Chile, SA, was getting worn and I had already replaced the wheels and joystick. While the quote Sam gave me for repairing the motor was very reasonable, I was indeed considering looking for a new chair that would better accommodate me as my physical condition has deteriorated since purchasing the Rumba. I was thinking that a chair with power tilt and a headrest would sure be nice and so I mentioned this to Sam. He said he had a gently used chair with tilt that may be what I need and he brought it right over. I kept it for the weekend and realized what I had been missing by not having the power tilt and I was sold. Sam agreed to make some necessary modifications to the footplate and even added a power recline for a very reasonable price. He also followed up with me after a few days to make sure all was well. The speed control was a little off so I mentioned it and he came over that afternoon and tweaked the settings until the power was just what I wanted. My experience with Sam and Redmans Wheelchair Repair has been better than I ever could have expected and I feel much more at ease knowing that if my power chair has ANY issues at all I can just call Sam Redman !!"
