"I've been with Doctor Ramon since approximately 2007. 2005 I had surgery, and was in the hospital for two and a half years, because of cancer. Initially, Dr. Raman cared, and would complete tasks. The past few years Dr. Raman's traits, or characteristics are unorganized, reschedules or is late for early appointments, and blames her staff or other people including myself for her failure to accomplish tasks. Furthermore, any lab requests are often sent to the wrong company, or orders for the wrong type of bloodwork are sent. Any tasks not completed in the office visit, are procrastinated wasting the patient's time. I have experienced receiving lab work for lime disease instead of year end physical, innoculations noted on my records that I have never had, and I had to hound Dr. Raman for her to finish the pre-operation clearance and referral, that was going to be cancelled, because the paperwork was continually sent to the wrong ortho doctor. After, Doctor Raman took time off, Doctor Ashar took the information from Anita, and corrected the mistakes. We had a pre-op appointment, where Doctor Raman received the paperwork in a blue folder from her tech, then hands it back to me, but sends it to the wrong ortho doctor. I don't believe most errors are from her staff as stated by Dr. Raman. I was a Frontline manager and training to be an area manager when I came down to cancer. Caring about customers, and the people who help you provide service is a required asset to a productive organization. I feel Dr. Raman is too proud to accept her negative inabilities, contradicts other specialist's medical advice, and as a result difficult to deal with, wastes the patients time. Add, she considers her vacations and time off more important than the patient. I will be honest in saying that I don't like going to doctors, and the medications I now take as a result of the cancer. I have considered that the blame was mine. However, I have taken my sister on my medical visits, and recorded the visits that I haven't taken my sister. My sister says she doesn't care why don't you change. I thought Dr. Raman may be going through a situation. However, her character of owning a business has not changed, and she's gotten worse. I haven't changed doctors, because the doctors who have good character references from my friends or other specialists are booked a month in advance. Finally, I decided to change pcp's, after the order for bloodwork for a physical was not sent to labcorp, after I called to verify the bloodwork order was placed, three weeks prior to my labcorp appointment. Labcorp stated there was no order. So, I called to request that Doctor Raman's office send labcorp paperwork requesting bloodwork for a physical. Instead, labcorp received bloodwork for clotting factor. Furthermore, with covid, she's always very late to the conference appointments through virtual meeting on the computer. This evaluation looks bad. However, most patients leave feedback on Healow, the patient-doctor portal, and are usually removed quickly as the patient leaves. Those reviews reflect semblance of character with the traits expressed in this review. I don't have any malice, I just wish she would take her profession serious, and correct the situation. If I had malicious thoughts, I would post her recorded excuses. Thanks God bless."
