"This is the least pet-friendly pet store I've ever been in. The first time we went there, my older dog was collapsing on the floor from the heat outside and the poor girl helping us had to get a large cup of water for the dogs because they don't put water out for them. The second time, a different woman was there who was completely clueless about basic pet care concepts (like not walking dogs on hot pavement and what a leash hook is). She was weirdly proud (?!) that she didn't know what I was talking about and delighted in the fact that I was flustered. It's a specialty store, so they don't carry any usual brands, even the high end ones, and they have very little selection at the store for anything other than food or treats. I ended up driving to the closest PetSmart and spending a bunch of money there. I wouldn't recommend this store unless you have very specific pet food needs."

"This review is just for the condition of the self wash. The nozzle has been broken for months so there’s no way to not spray full blast; the water temperature is really hard to control-cold and very hot; the thing that’s supposed to put shampoo in through the water nozzle doesn’t work so you have to pump shampoo into your hand then onto the dog which is totally impractical if you have a large dog; the concentrator nozzle doesn’t stay attached to the dryer so it’s basically useless; no towels provided. The Pet Planet in Mesa is so much better and I wish the Chandler one was managed as well as that one. Two stars because it’s marginally preferable than washing my big dog at home. What a bummer."

"I love this store! They have better alternative foods that are healthier than the regular store. My favorite part is that they offer specialty treats for pet's birthdays like cakes, cupcakes etc that have natural pet friendly ingredients. There's toys and yummy treats or chewing items as well. The staff is always helpful and friendly offering suggestions or expertise."

"The ladies are so great to work with. I will be back. FYI, they have a self wash room with all the necessities. $10 bucks for an adequate amount of time and just a bit more if your dog is super dirty or misbehaved, and it takes you longer."
