"I have been leaving messages for TWO MONTHS trying to schedule an appointment, with zero communication. Clearly they are either not accepting new patients or just dont give a flying F. Regardless, if this is how they approach new patients, I can only imagine trying to reach them after having established care will be equally careless."

"I know Tucson is in dire need of endocrinologists, but try to find a different office if possible. There is one person fielding phone calls for both offices, and the voicemail box is full, so you can’t leave a message. She is truly doing her best, but the sheer volume of calls makes it impossible to talk with someone. I have spent full days on hold, only to have the system time out and hang up on me. I have had to drive from an hour away to speak to someone in person because nobody picked up the phone. The patient portal is a somewhat better option, but there’s about a full week return time on any action items. I have never had the opportunity to see or speak with any of the doctors, only the PAs. I’ve been thankful for PA Claire Ramirez’s promptness when I needed a different prescription, but the office itself is so disorganized that it adds another level of difficultly managing a chronic illness."

"Very disappointed with this practice. I’ve called three times about my labs with no return call. You can only leave a message no one ever answers the phone it always goes straight to voicemail. They advise you not to leave more than one message but don’t call back. Every time I went there I see a different nurse practitioner and each one has changed my medication without labs. They did labs last time I was there but no one bothers to call me back to answer my questions about the lab results. This is unacceptable and I still don’t have answers to my questions about my lab work. Please don’t waste your time going here!!! Well here we go again. These people have sent me a letter claiming they have tried to call multiple times (NOT TRUE ) to let me know about my labs…REALLY ? Stop lying. The letter they sent had no lab results. It wasn’t signed by a Dr or nurse practitioner and they would discuss it with me on my next visit. Too little too late. I won’t waste my time going back there only to be disappointed again. No thank you. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME EITHER."

"I would give a (-) 5 star if possible. My mom was given a referral 2mos ago, the office never called her within a week to schedule so my mom has been trying to contact the office to get an appt and she has not been able to reach anyone, she has left numerous voice messages and even emailed the office. This is absolutely absurd. Is it possible to report the office to some sort of medical authority?"

"My husband has had type one diabetes for over 50 years. We first had Dr. Troy and loved him, he was fabulous. Next time we came in he was resigning and going into dermatology. We were then offered Dr. Karma. We liked her very much, made an appointment for a few months later in October for a check up, they call us and they say, “I’m sorry we have to cancel”. Ok, so when do we see you again? How about January? WHAT??? that means we haven’t seen you in 6 maybe 7 months! He has diabetes not a haircut to be taken care of! Well, that’s what’s available. We hung up and said we’ll call back. This is a debilitating disease and my husband had been seeing a podiatrist for a slow healing wound and could have lost his foot and they want us to wait until January! I don’t know if it’s Tucson that is attracting these “let’s throw the patients down the stairs because some one else is coming up the side walk attitude”, or or this is just our constant luck getting treated horribly by the medical community."
