"Dr Mukundkumar V. Patel will refuse to coordinate with your other physicians. It's "not his job." Then, when you rightly decide you should see some other doctor, one who recognizes that you have more than one thing going on in your life, and that you have other physicians that might need that doctor's input, Dr Patel will block you and poison the well, claiming that you are a crazy person, because he just really doesn't want to talk to your other doctor. That's just dumb. I don't trust dumb doctors. And I would think, given that I'm clearly a lunatic, because I dared ask him to coordinate with my other doctor, that he'd be happy to see the back of me. Nope, he chose to lie about the situation and refused to release me. So instead of me quietly switching to a different doctor, I have been dealing with this stupidity for weeks. I'm just shocked at the whole situation. Then, after he lied about this whole situation, he actually did call my other doctor. Huh? I guess it was his job after all. But I still don't trust him. Not only did he refused to coordinate my care with my other physician, he lied about it. How do you trust somebody that lies about you, that lies about a situation you're in, to take care of your health and to have your best interests in mind? I can't. And even though he has actually made the phone call, which would indicate to me that he has figured out that oh yeah, it is his job, he will not acknowledge that there was an issue. I would not trust this man to take care of a gold fish."

"Every doctor should follow the example set by Dr. Patel. If I could give him 100 stars, I would do it. He is personable, funny, comfortable, and extremely knowledgeable. But above all else, he actually looks at you (not at his laptop) while conversing."

"I drove 43 miles to get in to see a hematologist before the end of the year and his was the only office that could get me in and they did so within a couple of days, I have to be honest I thought maybe he’s not a great Dr and that’s why he has an opening so quickly. I was completely wrong! He was so incredibly nice and so caring, he spent almost an hour with me going over my medical issues. He explained everything to me in detail. I just wish I could find a family Dr just like him!!"
