"I always received great medical care while I was a regular liver transplant patient here at the Institute and Banner hospital back in 2019 and 2020. All the doctors, nurses, and other office staff were so very helpful, understanding, patient, and kind. My transplant team were the best!! My liver transplant would not have been a success and gone so smoothly if it wasn’t for the fine doctors and staff at the Banner University Medical Center Transplant Institute. I’m alive today because of my transplant team, my doctors and nurses, my surgeons, and my donor! Whenever I had a question or concern the staff always got back to me in a timely manner. "I saw a Doctor Nevah Rubin at the Banner Liver Center who was suppose to order labs for my condition. However, he allowed another physician who was no longer at this practice over a year to use that doctor’s order. Therefore, not only did he make a Medical / Doctor error , I was given the wrong labs. I f I didn’t print the labs to give to my primary physician I would not have known the reason for Banner Liver center never contacting me. Yes I fired this so called physician Dr. Nevah Rubin on the spot. Also the center staff when they make a policy change never inform the patients of the change as in how to go for labs. It’s always been walk in if so desired. the transplant center changes the policy to appts on line but never tell the patients. Yes the Liver Center always say “ We notified every one, except myself and the man next to me for the same reason They never told him either.” And when you complain to the associate manager she says well” if your so unhappy I can transfer you.” Instead of fixing the problem they blame the patients who deal with life threatening conditions and are scared to respond to the authority they impose on you. Well no I am not leaving you and all the staff there who don’t care and are repugnant leave Stop blaming patients for the poor service. I hope this helps other victims who are made to feel powerless."

"Doctor has had 10 Days to review a referral electronically sent from their own network. I was left on hold for 26 minutes to be told that I could call back tomorrow to schedule an appointment. Absolute disgrace."

"Banner Health does not care. It depends on WHO you are to the level of care you get. After denying adequate health care for 3 years i’m now at the point where i’ve been referred to Advanced Liver Disease Clinic. They refuse to even give me an appointment or a return call. It’s been a month. Perhaps it should have been a hint when they said, “ if you notice your eyes/skin turning yellow go to the ER” otherwise…. We’ll see you in 3 months for useless blood work again. It’s now OBVIOUS it’s a pick and choose situation. It’s pretty sick and vile!!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this place is. The building is easy to access, is very clean and everyone is fantastic. From beginning to end of your visit you are greeted with a smile and kindness. There is valet parking for $4 or free with handicap plate/placard. Valet is usually quick and efficient. Monday is usually the busiest day. Thank you to all the staff for helping the family with our transplant journey!"
