"Just under four months ago my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer, liver metastases, kidney disease, and heart issues. He was originally going to be treated at Mayo clinic but couldn’t sit in the long car ride there and back. They referred us to their colleague Aaron Scott and started the same chemotherapy treatment they planned at mayo. Dr. Scott made a good impression the first time my dad met him and I was relieved that we found a good doctor. Unfortunately that was short lived since Dr. Scott was only present during my dad’s first and last treatment, so he couldn’t see how poorly my dad was doing after each infusion. My dad got to the point where he could barely walk, speak, or even eat. This all happened within the first month of treatment, but the doctor wasn’t there to tell us if we should continue or not, that is until this last infusion. Dr. Scott told my dad that one more treatment would kill him. This was about a week before my dad passed away in the ER after waiting 3+ hours for help. Just because my father had severe health issues doesn’t mean he needed to be treated like a lost cause. He deserved better."

"Dr. Scott is personable and works with you to prepare the best and agreed upon treatment plan for you individual cancer challenges. Once you begin to work with Dr. Scott a treatment team is assembled to treat you pain, emotional and/or Psychiatric needs, ostomy management (if applicable), and Social Worker aid."

"My mom has been going to Dr. Scott for about two years, after being diagnosed with cancer. He is truly a pleasure to deal with- he has always been upbeat and empathetic and takes the time to thoroughly explain things and answer questions. We are truly thankful to have Dr. Scott as her oncologist."
