"I can not begin to express my gratitude to Zen Institute and the people who work there (However, I certainly will try!) From the moment I walked into the Institute I was met with kindness, warmth and compassion. I went into the Intensive outpatient program for multiple personal reasons. I came out of the program having gained exactly what I wanted and needed.  I made more progress in a month than I did doing years of therapy. I am not 100% better but the progress I have made is truly amazing. I am well on my way to living a happier life.  When the program was over they don't leave you in the lurch. They have an aftercare program if one wants to continue. I one hundred percent chose to continue seeing my therapist. She is truly amazing at what she does. I could go on and on about her and the Institute but I don't have the words to do them justice... I really felt compelled to write this review in the hopes maybe it will help someone who is struggling and trying to decide on a place to go for help."

"If I could give Zen Institute 100 stars I would. I arrived at Zen heartbroken, traumatized and stuck after the death of my child. I knew I needed to find a new normal but had absolutely no idea of how to navigate that process. The wonderful staff at Zen were exactly what I needed. They were kind, compassionate, and guided me every step of the way. I left Zen hopeful, empowered and comforted. Just a few aspects of Zen Institute that are unique. Zen only accepts clients who are motivated to be there and want to grow and learn. The group size is small so it felt intimate and personal. Group therapy was focused on learning practical tools to navigate our thoughts, emotions and life. We left Zen with a toolbox of over 50 tools that I still use today. Individual therapy was an opportunity to heal our personal trauma through several different modalities. I was able to explore my thoughts, feelings and worries in a safe and nurturing environment. The dual approach of group and individual therapy was nothing short of miraculous. I watched every single person in our group slowly heal and transform. We were all struggling with different obstacles (addiction, PTSD, etc.) but pain is pain and we all became more hopeful, centered and healthy. Zen is one of the best things I have ever done not only for myself, but for all of those I love and that love me. It takes so much courage to admit we need help. If you are struggling or just want to improve your quality of life I can’t recommend Zen Institute highly enough."

"I attended the Zen Institute recently. I cannot possibly express how life changing the experience was for me. The staff were caring and professional. I felt supported and understood, and Zen staff were available to me at anytime for any reason throughout the process, and since as well. The supporting materials and books were so helpful. Almost daily, I refer back to my scribbled notes, dog- eared book pages, and highlighted passages. They were so helpful with billing, and the intake process was seamless. After years of keeping my problems to myself, I found I was excited to at last be able to discuss them openly with other members of my group. I’ve never once had concerns, then or now, about confidentiality. That was huge for me as I had concerns about everyone finding out about things that took me to Zen. ( A silly fear upon reflection.) In closing, I checked into many support groups through Tucson and Arizona in general. I carefully selected Zen Institute because it just felt right to me there. Peaceful, calm, supportive, and caring. I could not possibly be happier with my choice. They provided exactly what I needed, how I needed it. I would give Zen fifty stars if I could. They were just awesome! If you need help, you’ll find it at Zen -"

"If you’re looking for a great IOP, this place knows their stuff. Just read about Wen Chi if you doubt this is true. I still have my book of tools and notes to use even a year after completing their program. They are a step up from a lot of other programs because they only accept highly motivated patients who are willing to put in the work to use the tools and succeed. This is what makes it quite different from generalized IOP’s run by hospitals or fancy rehab centers. But the reward is worth it. If you pay attention, they really do give you the secret to happiness, and if you apply the tools (evidence-based like CBT/DBT with a combo of Zen practices like meditating/mindfulness), you will be in a much better place than when you started, guaranteed. This place erases the stigma from IOP’s and I honestly think anyone looking for happiness and personal growth will benefit hugely from attending. I also appreciated how honest and straightforward the website, program, and staff are: you know exactly what you are going to get, and it is all extremely valuable, no fluff. Part of what convinced me to go here is that when I directly asked for what kinds of tools I will gain, they handed me a literal list of about 50 tools, which I still have to this day. :) The staff are all wonderful people and they are proud to share their bio’s on the website. Perfect for any time in your adult life: I was the youngest in my group at age 19 and met many kind-hearted people all the way into their 60’s. Personally, they have revolutionized my goals in life, and I would love if I could someday help others the way this place helped me. I would do it again just to have learned about Inner Twin therapy, Wen Chi’s own personal therapy modality creation. It has kept me sane and helped me the most, even months after finishing the program. Money well spent. If you are like me and have been through trauma(s) in your life, I would recommend making sure you have a experienced trauma therapist ready after the program who knows how to work gently with you on the EMDR (helps you regulate emotions and makes sure the EMDR doesnt “flood” you and simply re-traumatize you) to follow up to this program. To everyone out there looking for IOP’s, PHP’s, or in-patient treatment centers, READ GOOGLE REVIEWS! Can honestly say it has helped me so much in deciding. And good luck to you!"

"As a former Hospital Discharge Planner/Social Worker as well as a current Behavioral Health provider in private practice, I have been referring patients and clients to the Zen Institute for approximately seven years now for DBT/EMDR treatment. I can honestly say from my professional experience, that those former patients and/or current clients of mine, that have completed the necessary treatment over at the Zen Institute, have consistently referred to their experience as “transformative” and “life changing”! That is why I continue referring clients of mine that warrant top-notch DBT/EMDR treatment here in Southern Arizona. I am also happy to report that the Zen Institute now takes additional insurance plans, which helps with clients being able to complete this essential treatment."
