Dr. Carol A. Hahn, MD

"Dr. Carol Hahn is an amazing doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over 22 years and seen me during all three pregnancies. She is absolutely the best as well as knowledgeable and kind and makes you feel comfortable every time during exams. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Gynecologist/Obstetrician. The NP Whitney is also great she is very kind and knowledgeable as well. The staff over all is friendly and professional especially Cookie (front desk clerk). The Lab technician is the best she is great a gets labs done on the first poke and is very gentle. I give them a 10 out of 10 rating!!"

"This review should have been placed years ago, Im not over what happened so that’s why I’m writing this review now. Hahn was my OB when I delivered my daughter years ago. I had to spend a week or 2 towards the end of my 8th month in the hospital due to Early dilating and dehydration and I was Intravenously on turbutaline, I was Dilating more and more each day. She would stop by in the morning to check on patience and go to the office (I guess) . During my second week of my stay Hahn became what seemed to be agitated about me being there, as if the treatment and service you receive in the hospital was to good for me, if that seems to far fetched listen to what she told me. This lady said well you can go home and you can always call 911 if you need. I resisted her suggestion knowing my condition was to fragile, she then aggressively said “well you can’t just sit in here all day” I thought is that what this is? Or am I here for a medical reason, she took full advantage that I was alone. This was extremely dangerous to send a pregnant woman home Dilated to 8 (you are delivering the baby at 10) I was also on bed rest bcuz I felt ripping when I stood. She went thru all the trouble gave me a dangerous Amniocentesis (extra long needle thru the pregnant belly to pull Amniotic fluid) checking baby’s something can’t remember. And sent me home in that extremely delicate condition. I was suppose to STAY under medical watch on bedrest hooked to monitors watching baby. This lady caused something Catastrophic to happen a few days or so into being wrongfully in my apartment I noticed decreased fetal movement and I rushed to the hospital and baby’s heart was dangerously too low and her partner(who was available at the time) broke my water ( and WAITED until contractions started -NOT emergency c-section) and I delivered about an hour or maybe even 2 hours late. Baby had NO cry NO movement once delivered!! CHOP was there working trying to get her to cry and eventually she did minutes later. THERE WAS NO HEARTBEAT DUE TO THIS MALPRACTICE. I should have sued and took her license! Only the higher power saved my now thriving beautiful daughter."

"I lost a baby to severe anomalies in her care. It could not have been prevented but could have been discovered MUCH, MUCH earlier in the pregnancy. I feel like obvious signs were ignored and simple testing could have been performed (harmony, maternit21) at the first sign of trouble. I was treated very much like a number in her office. Visits were short and haste. She was awkward and unprofessional when she informed us our baby would likely die. She sent us to a completely unaffiliated and incredibly insensitive doctor to break the news to us. The practice Dr. Hahn works at was misinformed about termination procedure and law. The office manager insisted insurance would reimburse me for a termination when it's been against AZ state law to cover abortion since 2009. I would avoid this office and Dr. Hahn at all cost."

"I LOVE dr. Hahn. She delivered my first child and will be delivering my second child soon. She is a wonderful doctor who I feel has taken great care of me and my babies. She always listens to my concerns and asks questions in relation to the pregnancy, which really make a patient feel important. I love the front office staff too. I've never had a problem with anything at this office. Dr. Cyr is amazing too, I've seen her a few times :). I love this office so much that I'm willing to drive 30 min each way to see her."

"I'm going to start out with the great stuff, because I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hahn. This is my first pregnancy and she has made it so enjoyable and given me such peace of mind. Every appointment is very thorough and she always has time for all of my questions and concerns, even when some aren't directly related to baby. She is amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any of my family and friends. I seriously can't recommend her enough - she's down to earth, direct, funny, personable and just makes you feel comfortable in general. I'm even switching to have her be my PCP after I have the baby. We did have a scare around 34 weeks due to a bad ultrasound with SimonMed (a different ultrasound provider) and Dr. Hahn and her nurse, Amanda, were super on top of things and in constant correspondence with me throughout the few days where we had to get a new ultrasound at the hospital, etc., even though it wasn't their fault at all that the tech at SimonMed messed up. I feel like I can call them for any question or concern and am not annoying them- they always get back to me pretty quickly! The only negative about the practice as a whole is that the front desk staff sucks. They're usually kind of rude and scheduling seems to be a bit of an issue, so I always try to schedule as many appointments in advance as I can, if possible. Dr. Hahn is one of the most popular doctors, so you have to make sure you get your appointments scheduled quick! But, I'm personally willing to deal with a little bit of rudeness from the staff to have a great pre-natal doctor / team. GO HERE if you are pregnant and see Dr. Hahn! I also have heard Dr. Speaker (sp?) is great."
