"Please read edits below in response to the very professional response from the office. Dr Yunis is comforting and easy to talk to. My complaint is about the front desk/admin staff who have made this experience frustrating and scary. I requested to speak with Dr. Yunis before the procedure, by the time I spoke with him (I had been given so many meds I do not remember speaking with him at all) After coming home and waking up , I called and requested to talk with the Dr and was immediately denied access to speak with him. Despite what was said during the original/orientation appointment (Dr Yunis specifically said he would send you home with more oxycodone that you will probably need for pain management to be sure you’re okay) you will not be sent home with meds other than antibiotics and motrin. The front desk employee on (1/27) who refused to let me schedule a time with Dr, Yunis, refused to give me her name and hung up on me mid sentence and told me to stop calling. Which was disheartening considering I am not doing well. I feel scared that I cannot speak with him about my immediate post-procedure concerns. ** edit in response to below: I did not mention in this original review details of my procedure. However the doctor, felt comfortable to share here on the internet medical information that it was an abortion. Which I was originally not comfortable sharing publicly. Violating my medical privacy To clarify on “not doing well” for other patients reading i stated that I was experiencing mild pain and having anxiety due to the gravity of the procedure and not remembering the conversation with the doctor on the day of the procedure. I stated that would like to speak with him about what we discussed. I resent being called a “pathological, sick, drug-seeking patient” for requesting a medication to calm my anxiety, especially because I was not able to remember the conversation with the doctor stating that he does not prescribe those medications. In regard to him stating that my “doctors won't refill for them” I have continuously been on an anxiety medication, which I could not get refilled from my other doctor until the pregnancy is terminated (understandable). I asked the nurse prior to taking medication at this clinic for ONE dose of this medication until I can get a refill with my other doctor on Monday, after letting him know the procedure was completed. I am not sure if I spoke with Dr. Yunis about this, as (again) I do not remember speaking with him or even seeing him during the day of the procedure. I would never intend to “bully” or “persuade” a doctor to prescribe me a certain medication. I was unaware that he wasn’t able to give me these medications as I was not coherent when speaking with him. This is the reason I was frustrated that I could not speak to the doctor. The mention of getting a lawyer involved was not related to any prescription, however related to being denied access to speak with the doctor who performed the procedure. And I was in fact a patient, and after hearing the response from the office about this I feel"

"Dr Yunis is the best dr I ever had, I even have him as my daughters dr. He cares about his patients more than I ever ever seen from a doctor. I trust him and I highly recommend him."

"Would be five stars as he is the best doctor I know! But unfortunately after delivering two of my babies I called and found out hes not accepting mercy care, and my twins will not be able to be seen by the only doctor I would ever recommend in Arizona. Caprise Dansby * She did not say you didn't deliver babies anymore, just that my insurance isn't accepted anymore. My review is very high praising.... Stating you're the best doctor ever is not an insult. I still feel the same way I was so happy to be calling your office only to be turned away. Anyhow on the strength of the care you previously gave me and my babies and the fact that you still stand as the best Dr. I've come across I will change my review!"

"Best doctor I have ever know. Very knowledgeable smart and transparent. Take the time to talk to his patients and make sure they have a clear understanding about any concerns. He delivered my two children and the children of my friends and we would not change him for anything."
