"Fabulous performance of Midsummer last night! Puck had the balance between playful and devious down. Bottom was brilliant in his obliviousness. Great cast overall and the play within the play was so fun. Standing ovation to all!"

"I saw a production of Othello: A Black Girl’s Journey recently. It was a riveting performance. I could not take my eyes off Debra Ann Byrd for fear of missing a moment. She drew me in with the cadence of spoke word and “rhythm of our ancestors”! I cannot stop raving about this show. I only wish there were more performances this year! I am a total fan!"

"The performance of Midsummer Night's Dream was inspired, silly, enthusiastic and had a few surprises. The acting was excellent and the choreography was delightful. This is the 3rd production of Midsummer I have seen, and the first set in modern times. I need to get a Bard Card!"

"SSC is a Valley treasure. Their interpretations are creative, their actors are skilled and a joy to watch, and their humor and pathos alternately heart-wrenching in both directions. Do yourself a favor and class it up with SSC. The Bard has never been so fun."

"Just saw "Hysteria" at the Mesa Arts Theater. The most enjoyable roller coaster I have ever seen. I laughed and cried, felt entertained and moved to reflection by the play.Everyone on stage was powerful in their roles and convincing in their characters. This is a play you will remember and talk about long after the last curtain."
