"When I request a quote online, I expect to receive a quote online. Instead, I received a silly email with no quote at all. I was asked if I want a yearly premium or monthly payments with no mention whatsoever of how much either costs! Plus, all I wanted was renter's insurance and they clearly are more concerned about selling me car insurance. I DON'T OWN A VEHICLE! If I wanted auto insurance I would ask for it. Dodged a bullet."

"After reviewing our insurance we wanted our oldest child 26 years old to have her own policy and not have to pay us each month. Keli told us that it would not be possible to keep the same rates that we currently have through their company. We decided to shop around. A bit surprised we found better and less expensive insurance (Allstate). We sent in our letter of cancelation and then immediately got a call from Keli's supervisor. It was explained that Keli made a mistake and its now possible to save money and split policies. Cautiously we agreed and Alameda Ins said they would send the paperwork out. Two weeks go by and nothing. Two days before our current policy expired we call them to inquire where it is. They said we should be receiving it any day. On the day our policy expires it arrives with a large increase from what was quoted. It had a nice letter from Keli explaining how she had made a mistake (again!). Now upset I called Keli. We had just spoke a few days ago and nothing was mentioned. I wanted to know if they would honor the original quote. Keli said that my wife should have let her know that we replaced a car on our policy, and that she could not honor the original quote. We replaced this car TWO YEARS AGO!! Our policy with this group has had the correct vehicles since then. Don't waste your valuable time with this group. I'm now spending my only day off scrambling for insurance. Oh yeah, I'M STILL WAITING ON A CALL FROM THE OWNER."
