"Even though the office waiting area was very busy, the wait time was minimal. The receptionists were kind and efficient. The exam was thorough and professional and I very much liked the knowledge and demeanor of Dr. Kartchner. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone!"

"I recently went there to have a visual fields exam, & after no wait at all, I was called back by the technologist whose name escapes me (sorry!). She was a lovely lady who was kind, friendly, & obviously knowledgeable. I actually asked her if she enjoyed her work, & she gave me a bright smile & said, “absolutely!” I literally exited the office with a smile on my face… Please look up my exam for her name & thank her for me. I was an ultrasound tech for decades, I know that to improve your patient’s experience, you MUST connect with them. Period. My tech at this office succeeded simply because she cared."

"I traveled 4 hours to see this Doctor. It was an amazing experience, there staff is courteous, friendly and most of all patience. My mom has brain cancer and her vision was damaged. They were very caring and comprehensive towards her been upset of her condition."

"I will start this review by saying that my experiences with the actual doctors here were excellent - they are attentive, take the time to explain your medical issues, and will advocate on your behalf to get the care you need despite the efforts of their colleagues. The support staff here is terrible, bordering on atrocious. You must frequently remember exactly what care you need and advocate strongly to get it. The check-in has frequently screwed up appointments, resulting in key tests not being conducted in time for other visits. The staff will gaslight you, lie to your face, and discuss their mistakes within earshot when they occur. There have been instances where I was in the office for a specialized test, only to realize that I was being given a routine eye exam. I then had to have an argument with the staff in the office as to the purpose of my visit, as they continually insisted I was there for a routine eye exam - which I had just had the week before. Once your visit is complete, the front desk staff is not capable of making any appointments or forwarding notes to other doctors responsible for your care. Every time I have visited, I have needed one of these things. I will approach the desk, tell the staff this, and they will type on the computer for several minutes. They will then look up as if they have never seen you before, and attempt to treat you like somebody who has walked in the door for the first time. Truly baffling. Every visit, clinical notes and results need to be forwarded to other doctors. Every time, they claim to have done this - but every time, my other doctors never receive any notes until I call in and ask for them to do so again. In addition to all of this, expect to wait. Every visit, regardless of purpose, has been a minimum of 2 hours."
