"Have a severely disabled child(nonverbal, wheelchair) basically like a baby got out of PCH ER a few days ago. Got a referral to PCH Urology. She is in the PCH system for quite some time even though she is 20. We were excited to get an appt for her soon. Got a call today to let me know they don't take new patients over 18. Why would I get a referral then? Truly shameful."

"Big thanks to Dr. Abelson. He has been treating my son who has under performing kidneys. He takes his time in the consultations, and answers all of our questions. He takes time to paint the big picture of my son's treatment plan."

"I’m not the type to leave a poor review, but do yourself a favor and find a different urologist. We’ve had a horrible experience since the day of my sons surgery. The nurses are incompetent and will argue with you over dosage then apologize because they were wrong. They argued over how often to give meds then apologize again after realizing once again they were wrong. They argued over the type of pain meds he would get, after we already spoke with his doctor regarding the pain meds and spoke to me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. They cancelled his bladder spasm med refill because they said he should’ve had enough and I was overdosing him. They apologized once they realized I was NOT overdosing him and that they hadn’t given us enough to begin with. We brought this up at his 10 day follow up and they apologized profusely. We went to his “30 day” follow up only to be locked out because we were there at 3:32, and not 3:30. I then called and spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get ahold of someone only for someone to finally come out and say the provider already left and proceeded to tell me that I wasn’t there at 3:32. I’m so tired of arguing with these people. I have proof on my phone that I called them at 3:35 after spending a few minutes trying to open the door. I wasted 45 minutes and a lot of gas to get to this appt. That was the last straw with PCH Urology. Don’t make my mistake. Find someone else."

"The office staff was more friendly and professional than the doctor. I think it was mildly inappropriate how he examined my son and I will never go back here again. I'm mad I had to give him money after the way the exam went. He should really slow down and actually learn to care about his patients. Go see another urologist. (Also, the day after our appointment there was a police standoff situation in the parking garage. It's not in a great area of town.)"

"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE KAREN DUNIVANT she takes her time with us while in her office. I never left the office with questions or unsure of any treatment. The office staff is very happy, friendly and out going. I would not take my son anywhere else!"
