"From my experience, it’s a decent place to live for low income families. Had no problem living here. Problem was the leasing agents and property manager, they don’t do much for their residents nor care. Maintenance took a while, to do a work order. And a lot of the residents owe at least 3 cars or more. Never parking space available. Gates definitely do not work. Too many stray cats. The A/C will go out unfortunately."
"PLEASE READ!! IT IS A LONG READ BUT DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!! The biggest RED FLAG was the moved-in process. THE DAY BEFORE move-in they told me the townhome was not ready. I signed the paperwork a WEEK later and was given the keys. (PLEASE ASK TO SEE THE APARTMENT BEFORE SIGNING!!) I went to the home and immediately saw ALOT of unfinished work. In fact, the maintenance guy was still working on patching up a hole in the bathroom wall. He told me he still needed to put caulk throughout the home and fix the stove because it was not working properly. The home had a lot of window blinds missing. The fridge doors did not have handles and the washing machine was missing the turning mob and was FULL of rust. On top of all that THE HOME WAS EXTREMELY DIRTY! I immediately called the manager, he apologized and said he would make the home a priority. a couple days later, they had worked on most issues, but they seemed to be resolved by just painting over them!! The home was STILL so dirty that I had to start cleaning myself so I could finally move in! Housekeeping finally came and finished what I started! I was not able to move in until 5 days after I signed the lease! I WOULD HAVE NEVER SIGNED, HAD I SEEN THE HOME IN THIS CONDITION... AGAIN, PLEASE ASK TO SEE THE APARTMENT BEFORE SIGNING!! The next biggest issue was MILDEW! The AC started leaking water out of nowhere. Like a running faucet!! I turned it off and immediately called maintenance! It took them 5 DAYS TO SHOW UP! All maintenance did was change my air filter! Because I had turned the AC off, there was no longer a leak so apparently the issue was resolved to them. I WENT ONE ENTIRE MONTH WITH THIS ISSUE! I called the office everyday to come check and every day they said they will when they can. MY ENTIRE HOME SMELLED LIKE MILDEW. My clothes, my furniture, my beds! The smell got so bad I could not live in the home.. I DID NOT LIVE THERE FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH! Even after they “repaired” the issue (I had the same issues the following summer), I STILL could not live in the home due to the lingering smell. The carpets had to be cleaned in order for me to finally stay. I had many issues with the dryer, among other things in the home, that took maintenance weeks to show up and fix. MOVING OUT WAS ANOTHER NIGHTMARE! I submitted a 30-day notice of intent to vacate on 07/11/23, so move out would be 08/11/23. They accepted but said I had to pay the entire month of August! NO WHERE IN THE LEASING CONTRACT DOES IT SAY THAT! Do not let them lie to you! They will tell you it’s policy to pay the whole month BUT their contract states you owe any money up until your move out date. They have to prorate it! After speaking to them many times, they finally approved the prorated amount… as they should! I was finally out of the home & thought the nightmare was over until I got the Statement of deposit/move-out charges! I got ZERO MONEY BACK! Crazy, considering I left the place 100x better than how I got it. Honestly seems like they took my deposit for having to prorate the rent! PLEASE FILL OUT THE MOVE-IN INSPECTION FORM EXTRA CAREFULLY!!! TAKE BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES OF EVERYTHING! If there is PREVIOUS patch work on the walls/ doors or missing window screens, NOTATE THAT! Or they will blame you for THEIR previous work and charge you to replace! ALSO, please keep a paper trail!! I had many conversations with maintenance regarding the issues, many conversations where they took accountability for the issues but the management team will NOT honor their word or yours! I leased the townhome for almost 2 yrs, but I certainly did not live there for the entire time! Definitely should have left as soon as the lease was done! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!"
"Definitely do not recommend anybody to live here, the manager is lazy and rude, maintenance as well. We literally have a leaking AC and the manager have the audacity to tell me she put in a work order to get it fixed yet that was a lie because I’ve checked the request history and she hasn’t input nothing. Maintenance lead does the bare minimum as well and refuses to fix anything in these apartments. The oven hardly works, the AC leaks, and the apartment has its fair share of roaches. Crazy she lied to me and said they haven’t done work orders all month either yet I’ve seen maintenance go into other apartments and fix things for other tenants. I feel like management picks and chooses who they want to help which is a shame because that’s very unprofessional on their end, so just save yourself the trouble and don’t move here."
"God awful place to live, roach motel and the front desk is not open enough. The inside of the apartment that they rented to a family member was not nice, extremely rough. Watch them as they try to charge you for the items they did not fix in the 1st place and they charge you for every nail hole you put in the wall. Good luck if your Ac goes out, they usually do not have all the parts , they will give you a portable ac but only good for 1 room and it really don't work well"
"Expect to live in paint covered mold, they fix their water leaks with glue, pictures below show a water leak coming down to second level through light fixture , took months for maintenance to glue . So imagine the mold . Wish I had kept all the pictures I had to use for them to decide to fix it. expect maintenance to do the cheapest sloppiest “maintenance work” possible . expect your ac unit to go out and live without it for a few days. They have a maintenance crew of about 2 people , so imagine the wait times . They must pay them less than minimum since no one they hire stays long enough . Same with office crew. They do not offer any amenities like falsely advertised, the pool is always closed , their gates never close, but don’t lose the gate key because they will charge you for it . Expect to never have visitors, as there is never available parking . Rent is “affordable” but if you can go anywhere else . Please do so. The Cove around the corner . ANYWHERE else ."
