Colton Apartments

"We moved into a renovated unit 2 years ago and immediately there were issues. We marked down many defects in our lease before we moved in. Holes in the walls, laundry room door was falling off, drawers made of mdf constantly falling out of their sliders. Our dishwasher was backfilling, still is, with sink water. It stinks. We've had them remove the laundry room door completely and I installed a curtain and rod to beautify the space. We still have many issues with the drawers. Maintenance doesn't seem to want to fix them, they just put in the same screws that fall out and later the same day the drawer will fall off the rails. *update* they finally fixed the drawers! Our dishwasher is still back filling with water. I clean it often (2-3 days) bc otherwise the smell is unbearable. I have called them about the issue about 6x but there has been no permanent fix. They move the hose below the sink around and say to call them if we keep having issues. The common areas really need some TLC. Residents are to blame as well but I feel there are no effort to fix damges or stains on the furniture in the common areas. *Update* 2/27/24 The state of the common areas is declining. The furniture is filthy. The tables in the common areas are broken and can't be used. Quite a few lights are out around the complex. The pool is closed AGAIN. Last time it was closed nearly a year, we'll see how long it is closed this time. It's a beautiful complex, with gorgeous views in a very safe and upcoming neighborhood. Colton (Cushman and Wakefield) has tons of potential but the management needs to take steps to uphold the standards they set forth when remodeling and renovating the property."

"I've NEVER lived here but LMAO it's a Cushman and Wakefield owned complex so RUN AND DO NOT LOOK BACK lol. Check who the owns the place first BEFORE moving in.... Cushman and Wakefield are the SLUMLORDS of vegas they DO NOT CARE about their residents they ONLY care about the money.... FYI they WILL ILLEGALLY kick you out for NO REASON and NOT care either.... DO NOT RENT FROM ANY apts from Cushman and Wakefield."

"BY FAR THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN HENDERSON… I received a moving permit due to my tags being expired until the end of the month and on Wednesday I woke up to my car being towed when I went to the office on 1/17 to clear things out and try to figure out what happened the “fill” for the day was no HELP AT ALL has no clue what he’s doing here his only response to everything being asked was “I don’t work here I’m just a fill” along with the “fill” working on 1/18 also no help her response to everything is “I don’t work here I’m just a fill” and proceeded to kick me out of the office for asking for a phone number of a higher up to leave a complaint. Managers and “fills” seem to push off important stuff and act like they don’t care. MOVE ELSEWHERE"

"Colton apartments is by far the best place I’ve ever been able to call home. It’s so quiet in this area and away from all the chaos in the city the renovations are upscale the amenities are pristine and the staff goes above and beyond to do what they are able to do to run this business the way it should be ran. I’m so appreciative to be able to live in this community under such great ownership and great staff"

"I've called The Colton home for the better half of a year. When I decided to relocate, I viewed 10 apartments throughout Henderson & Las Vegas. I picked Colton because the unit looked exactly like the photos. I visited the apartment during the day & at night to ensure the building was safe. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. The staff was incredibly helpful before, during, & after the move-in process. I've had positive interactions with Alejandra, Cortney, & Cintia specifically. They do a great job maintaining the appearance of the property which is very important to me. The garbage is promptly picked up. My unit is updated, so I haven't had many issues that needed maintenance. There was a heating issue in December that was resolved within 24-48 hours. I appreciate how quickly requests are processed. The community events are unique & fun. I really enjoyed the candle-making & cocktail event. There was a Sunday Brunch a couple of weeks ago 10/10 on ingenuity. I don't have any complaints, but I do wish we could get a leg press or pilates reformer in the gym. Overall, I highly recommend The Colton."
