"I had a mixed experience here at mayo. I am a transgender person who just had surgery here at mayo and I feel like they could really use some education that way. The nursing staff was great! Zero complains with them. My surgeon, Dr Khan was fantastic and I am very happy with the job she did. The team she used for the surgery could use some training in bedside manner and dealing with transgender folks. I heard a them misgender me and talk not so pleasantly about me when they thought I was out. All in all I am satisfied with my visit and would recommend Mayo for people to receive surgeries."
