"After years of suffering through cripplingly painful cycles, from severe endometriosis, PCOS, and Adenomyosis, my husband and I began what turned into our 6 year journey of conceiving a child of our own. It had always been our plan. We went through the standard procedures that our healthcare lead us through. After 2 surgeries to remove endometriosis, 3 polyp removals, 4 IUIs, 3 egg retrievals, and an additional diagnosis of a chromosomal abnormality called reciprocal translocation on my 2 and 13 chromosomes, we finally resulted in a positive pregnancy test. Only to lose the child a month into the pregnancy. We were told there was no other options to conceive on our own. I found myself at my limit. Not only were my cycles so bad, but I would also get sick every time after my cycle ended. So half of my life was completely nonfunctional. Once there Dr Rebecca immediately made me felt heard, and you could tell she truly cared and wanted to find a solution. Before seeing Dr Rebecca the only way I could feel that I didn’t need to go to the hospital was with 2 oxycodines and 6 800mg ibuprofen. Which I didn’t want to live like, and I was still in so much pain I couldn’t function. After regularly seeing Dr Rebecca, Incrementally I saw and felt my symptoms become less and less. I decided to focus on getting healthy and get off the emotional roller coaster of focusing on pregnancy solely. But it was always in my heart and in the back of my mind, and Dr. Rebecca kept it in her protocols. Finally after a year I become pregnant and went through all of the checks and scans and I am so happy to be most of the way through my third trimester with a healthy baby girl that was conceived naturally. "I have been going to my TCM appointments with Rebecca for almost a year now. I was going originally due to postpartum anxiety, severely painful periods, and even a uterine polyp. While I still deal with anxiety, it is at a much lower level than when I began, and the polyp and period pain are all completely gone. I’ve had other health things come up in my time there that I’m still working through, but it always felt nice to have a touch point throughout my week or month depending on how often I went. I like to recharge, relax and even feel a little pampered too when I go now. I mainly go for that and to have my own “me” time twice a month.
