"Normally the reviews on any site usually consist of stupid comments, bitter people who want to be trolls under fake names or remain nameless to smear a service or facility just because they can. For me and Arizona ENT, these comments with 1 and 2 stars hold some merit with regards to my experience this week. I saw Dr. Bassett for ringing in the ear. Credit given where credit is due, they had openings last minute under 2 weeks from date I called as a new patient. 2nd positive, the wait time as a new patient on a weekday was rather fast, less than 20 minutes and the room got full quickly, again, credit given where it is due. Rare this day in age for those two outcomes to happen in my experience, but that was the extent of my positive experience. I was unable to get into my previous ENT due to the fact I couldn’t remember the name and group. Preoccupied w/ with busy work schedule and ringing in the ear for 3 days straight at time of call and this was unbearable at best. With this ringing in the ear as something new, I just wanted to find anyone to get it figured out or some type of action plan. Per my age this ringing is not a normal outcome, or so I am told. First red flag, there are several signs in the waiting room informing patients that cursing out staff will not be tolerated. 2nd red flag, when completing my paperwork for ENT-related visits prior, Dr. Bassett came off annoyed that in the last 10 years I’ve seen four different ENT specialists. When asked why, he wouldn’t let me address the questions in full and constantly cut me off. One would think there might be a legit reason why I’ve been to several. He was even more annoyed that I couldn’t remember my last ENT doctor’s name who I only saw once for a completely different related issue that is persisting 4 months prior at time of this visit. This is speculative on my part, take for what it’s worth, but his responses came back at me as If I were attacking his colleagues in the field as he spit off several names who I didn’t recognize as if he were in defense of them. Though the reason why I’ve been to four ENT’s last 10 years really boiled down to I moved, and the wait times/schedules were so bad I had to find someone else because of my job / work schedule. So, Bassett’s responses were super direct from the start and was in a rush to get me in and out of the office. He didn’t care to dive into the related history over those ten years as it might be relevant or not to this visit. Get into the audio room to be told I have possible minor hearing loss one ear but overall, right on track for my age. So, the ringing is more likely tinnitus. At this point it is now 2 weeks straights of non-stop ringing in my ear and the results end with, it could go away, it could not, but there are masking techniques out there, but don’t listen to those YouTube quacks if they want you to use creams…. then sent me on my way without any recommendations in the valley for specialists in this area. Outcome "me sarcastically speaking"- Ringing in the ears, probably tinnitus…. Just don’t watch YouTube and you will be fine, maybe. So, no additional information about this was given, or recommendations on who I could possibly see for tinnitus options and therapy. I don’t have my hearing test, but I am sure I can call the staff and request it. Basically, pushed out of the office pending the rest of my bill after the fact…. 1 star, no need for me to go back and establish a patient history with this office."

"They say they'll go out of their way to help, but the only time you'll hear from them is unexpected bills in the mail. Two stars instead of one because it's pretty much par for the course these days."

"Sean Kane is fabulous. I can't say enough good things about him. He listens and spends time and makes sure he gets to the root of the problem, whether I like it or not! I wish he was my regular physician. I would trust him with anything. Several of my friends now go to him as well."
