"I recently saw Dr. Joyce George in endocrinology. I was disappointed in both of my appointments. I was prescribed a medication that made me have pretty significant symptoms that were quite uncomfortable. On my second appointment I spoke to Dr. George about this and asked her about making a medication change. She was not opposed to this change. At the end of my appointment when her medical asst came in to finish my appointment, I asked her about that medication change. Dr. George had already gone into another appointment with another patient, so the medical assistant stated that she would send a message to Dr. George and ask her about this change, she said she would call me with the information later in the day. I didn’t hear back from her prior to close of business, so the following day I called the office. The person that I spoke with on the phone informed me that there was a note in my chart that I was just to come back and see Dr. George in six months. Unfortunately, I felt like my medical needs were not taken seriously. While Dr George was kind and polite, I felt like her stating that my elevated glucose and A1C were “only slightly elevated”, didn’t seem correct. (FG 141, and A1C 6.7) and I am concerned that letting these things go without proper treatment, begets more issues. I have put a call into the PCP to request a new endo. Unfortunately it took me six months to be able to get in to an appt, to feel my concerns were not taken seriously. Hopefully it won’t take as long to see another endo."

"We had a great experience using this facility. The entry checkin staff was very helpful, and there was not a wait. We were seen quickly and Dr was very nice. Explained everything and was friendly. I would recommend this place"

"Dr. Gordon’s practice at Banner Sun City West is truly horrible. They have you arrive early then you wait almost an hour in an exam room. They charge you one rate then void the payment and then recharge you at a higher rate. While in the exam room, they call you on your cell phone thinking that they’ve released you showing that they have no idea where you’re at. When you ask for a paper prescription so you ca. shop for the lowest prescription cost they look up the cost of prescriptions on Good RX so when you agree to a pharmacy they send the prescription to a totally different pharmacy. When you call the office to have it resent to the correct pharmacy they don’t call you back to let you know if it’s been sent. You can’t file a complaint with Banner but have to file it with the doctor’s office. I’ll be cancelling my scheduled procedures, filing a complaint with the state, and the better business bureau. They get one star because I can’t give them no stars."

"I don’t trust any other hospital like I trust Banner Del Webb! Everyone is so kind and there is such a bright, safe feeling in this hospital. Some hospitals are old and dreary and downright creepy, but this one feels like an upscale doctor’s office and everyone I talked with was someone who cared, especially main nurses and doctors. I felt truly cared for throughout my week stay and followup appointment. Super clean, very nice, so much care."
