"Finding a provider who actually makes me feel like they're listening and considering all the aspects of my life is a rarity, but I found it with Dr. Harrel. Many of my issues since childhood have been dismissed as dramatics or just not having a tolerance for discomfort. For a long time many of my concerns have been dismissed as "womanly issues" but in recent years this has happened even more than usual. After having kids, turning 30, and gaining some weight that wouldn't budge, I was told over and over it just happens. But I knew something was off. My former PCP was very much in the camp of "well you have some kids and your body changes!" This not only did this discount my concerns, but also left me feeling like I would have to wait until something was REALLY wrong to get to the bottom of the changes I'd experienced. Even with starting with her practice while dealing with COVID and telemed and that fun stuff, I still haven't had a provider really made me felt cared for and supported in a very long time."

"I made a new patient appointment with Dr. Harrel, for physical. A couple of days later I was contacted by someone in her office to get some information. I am a recent Medicare patient who is self-employed. I was told that I had to "say" I was retired.I didn't understand why. (Can you say insurance fraud?) Furthermore, I was then told my appointment would be by teleconference. How can you do an exam by teleconference? I canceled!"
