"Been coming here since 2018 I don’t feel like there are many options or services l except allopathic medicine and steroid injections. I am discriminated against since I am young like my pain isn’t real enough because of my age. I’m a combat veteran and have agonizing pain but when I ask to switch medicine or anything for breakthrough pain I am ignored or treated like a drug seeker. I don’t even fill my medicine until after the 30 days because I take less than prescribed as often as I can. They have my prescription records! I have a BSN,RN am 100% disabled can’t work and hate taking medicine and living with chronic pain. Wish I was treated better by Dr. Curry I am not sure of his heart hardened over the years or what. The staff is excellent and friendly always they seem to have more compassion than my doctor. I began to feel like another number here. It’s sad because I respect Dr. Curry so much and always recommend him but this experience here is changing. I leave the office in tears unheard unseen and judged. Nobody wants to live a life with chronic pain it is agonizing and awful. I am crying for help and support! I’m resistant to treatment had surgery and spinal stimulator trial was very short when it reduced my pain 25% they raised the frequency so high on day 3 that my body could not handle it. It’s all about numbers I realize this is not all on Dr. Curry as the manufacturers have their policies as well. Praying for a miracle and waiting on my healing from God!"

"Forgive my long winded review but context, something the providers at this clinic have no time or understanding for, is important. My experience with this clinic involves my father, who has brown sequard syndrome, a spinal injury that now at 78 leaves him wheelchair bound. He has had multiple back surgeries, knee replacements following septic joints, among other chronic health issues. I am a physician in another state and recently helped my parents move closer to me given their chronic health problems. That said, my parents have tried to go to quartzsite every year for the winter for socialization and warm weather, and i am happy they have been able to do so. Given all of their moves, as well as their long time GP passing away a couple years ago, they have had a hard time finding any physician or midlevel provider willing to take the time or effort to investigate his condition and truly understand it. My father has chronic pain, understandably, from his condition and has been on numerous pain medications and muscle relaxers for his spasticity. He has been on two medications for at least 15 years that have worked well as a combination for him to live his life, not pain free, but as best he can. Since they recently moved, as well as snowbird, they found themselves without any provider willing to prescribe his pain medication. They have been to countless providers in Arizona trying to find someone to prescribe two medications my dad had taken for years, unchanged. Nobody would take on my father or his condition. After being told he wouldnt be seen a few weeks ago at this clinic for being a few minutes late, due to my mother getting lost (who has Parkinsons and is my fathers full time caregiver), they rescheduled to come back, though they live an hour away. Finally they saw a nurse practitioner here, who insinuated my father was a pain seeker and misconstrued what she thought she knew about them, which was nothing. She was insulting and adamant my father couldnt take the pain meds he was on and she wouldnt prescribe them. She would not call their pcp from their recent home to get more of the story, she assumed what she assumed and stereotyped my parents as pain medication seekers like they were druggies. Was she not able to see the old man crunched up in a wheelchair in front of her? Could she not see from the dopl website he has been on the same medication and same doses for decades? No, she insinuated they were getting medication from somewhere underhandedly. I imagine she documented her uneducated opinion so it can follow my parents around, making their lives even more difficult than it already is. Let me be clear, i fault no provider for not being comfortable providing a medication to a patient, but i do expect someone who claims to be a medical provider to investigate a very complex patient that sits or stands before them asking for help, and if that provider is not qualified to do that, they should ask a supervising physician for help. Instead my parents were turned away, told to detox on their own as they would receive no help from this clinic. As a physician, i myself am burdened by insurance companies, expensive medications, time constraints and rising costs of running a practice. But nothing disgusts me more than someone who claims to be a healthcare provider judging a patient without any real understanding of their condition, and turning them away to fend for themselves. I hope you read this and are ashamed of how you treated my parents. Benjamin Jones, MD, FAAD"

"I contacted Yuma Valley Advanced Pain Management requesting a appointment as a new patient and was told I need a referral from my primary physician, which was find and standard procedure. I had my primary send them the referral and never heard from them. So I contacted them to set it up. They emailed me there 18 PAGE new patient packet that I filled out and sent back in. Not a word from them. I contacted them again and resent the packet, again no contact from them. I have great health insurance so that's not the issue. There person who answers the phone does not appear to want to help much. Just a poor experience all around with them."

"Dr. Curry and his staff have ALWAYS been amazing. I have been going to Dr. Curry for many years and never had a bad experience. Dr. Curry has been very caring and all procedures have always been right on. My only regret is having to move away. I miss Dr. Curry and his staff and all he has done for me through the years. Thank you Dr. Curry"

"I have had the pleasure of having Jeremy Butler as my nurse practitioner for at least the last 5 years. He has been wonderful. I am very grateful I have him. I have had Dr Curry give me cortisone injections multiple times before and he was a very nice person who did excellent work. I have nothing but good things to say about this office."
