"My company leased a freightliner cascadia through penske fleet. The truck become disabled in Mexico about 4 mile from the San Luis commercial border crossing. My company hace mechanics in San luis Mexico, but they could not get truck to move. It was in derate and had no throtle. Penske send out Border State, but wasn't told the truck was in Mexico. With limited time until border closing over the phone instructed our mechanics how to bypass the derate and get the truck into the USA. Very knowledgeable, very professional and accommodating. "Im a owner operator and have a couple of trucks running back and forth from San Diego to phoenix...we called Border State with a regen problem on our 2015 Freightliner Cascadia. They are the only ones in the area that do road service on semi trucks and DEF systems and they were fantastic. Tom responded within a half hour and had diagnostics complete within an hour. The only thing that took time was waiting on the part because it had to come in from phoenix. Great service, great price, fast and friendly. When he arrived the first time he had cold waters and the second time he came with the part he brought breakfast. We will def use again for any repairs on our trucks."

"I normaly dont leave reviews but that last frustrated #### needs to go to bed. Probably just a hating on a young successfull towing company owner. My tow truck broke down on on the 8 omw out to San Diago. The truck was a brand new International roll back that had a Regen failure. Border state stopped and asked if i was alright, i had a heavy motorclub suposedly on there way out so i told him i didnt need service. The driver left me with a couple ice cold bottles of water and gave me his info incase i needed it. well three hours of waiting i gave them a call and they were out withing 20min. He towed me back to his shop where his mechanic cleared all the trouble codes. i didnt have the money in my account to cover the bill which was more then fair, but i told him i would omw back from san diago. They were awesome about it and trusted me to pay them on the return. I have mad respect for this guy as should everyone else. This guy sold his home and everything he owned except tools and clothes to start his business. For the first couple of months he was living out of his shop, buying towing equipment before he bought food or a fridge. i would recomend them for anything. dont let haters get ya down brotha...you are gonna do great things."
