"My kid has primarily been seen by RN Iris Flores since birth but has also been seen by Dr.Alou from time to time. Both are equally knowledgeable, capable and compassionate. I have full confidence in their advice/ treatment plans. Not to mention, their staff is always kind, courteous, organized, and efficient. Even on a busy day, we’re seen pretty quick. I recommend Yuma Kids Clinic to every friend of mine."

"I was hugely disappointed with Yuma Kids Clinic/Dr. Alou because I called 7/11/18 hoping to speak to Dr. Alou in regards to obtaining him as a Pediatrician for my Son and I was told that he was busy & couldn’t speak with me(this was completely understandable). What was disappointing is that I was made to feel that Dr. Alou had absolutely no interest in taking the time to speak with me & he would not even be taking the time to call me back(it’s the end of the day 7/13/18). I had explained that my Son is/has been in NICU since the day he was born in Feb and we are currently in a NICU in Phx so I simply wanted to briefly speak to Dr. Alou to describe my sons medical history to see if he’d feel comfortable having my Son as his patient. I emphasized it would be a brief conversation just to see Dr's comfort level & I left my name and contact number for a callback. I was given the impression that I wouldn’t be getting a call back-which I did not. I need to find a Pediatrician for him for when he is ready to come home so I was suggested by the Neonatologist to contact Dr’s in Yuma to ask them about their comfort level in being able to care for my Son prior to choosing one. Dr. Alou was the first Pediatrician I called and since he didn't care enough to even call me back, I have a negative impression of his commitment to reach out, reliance on his administrative organization, caring for future patients, and no comfort or assurance in his competency to care for my Son. I would have Loved nothing more than to have been able to take my son in there to have met Dr. Alou in person but unfortunately I cannot & now I most definitely will not. I received treatment contrary to what their website claims “Our staff will work together with patients and families to make sure all needs are addressed.” If you want your child to be taken care of as an individual and not just seen as another patient in a patient log I would not recommend this place. If they cannot take the time to simply speak to someone, how much time will they take to meet your child’s individual needs? **I wrote this review back in July & for some reason it had been deleted.**"
