"Hanger Park was a fun place to people watch! It's a great place for kids and people who love soccer! It's also pretty photogenic and a good place for a picnic."

"Hanger park has a great play ground, a basketball court, and a fun path for walking or rolling along on wheels or tires. There is a large grassy field where we had soccer practice (it really needs to be mowed as of August 2022). The parking is limited and really just along the street, but overall it's a great park."

"Very nice park in a basin. That pretty much isolates us from Knox Rd. Parking is essentially on the street. No restrooms. There is a tiny parking lot that can only handle a few cars. My unfounded guess if you are a lot to the park stopping there would avoid having the long walk into the basin. There is one of the two soccer fields close by. The other is on the middle of a relatively wide park. Good lit basket all court. Good sand volleyball court. Large playground. Lots of shade. Handicapped parking spot is on the street which a long walk down the fenced sidewalk and then a difficult push to get back up. The park was not busy but more people than I have seen at a majority of other parks. It still was probably 1% occupied. The two soccer areas are basic and the pitch not good. Shade trees a very good. The city of Tempe has a lot of good parks and this is one of them."

"Hangers park has two soccer fields, a sand volleyball court, playground for kids (5 and up I would say) , and they have recycling bins/trash cans. There aren’t any restrooms near by or at the park. They usually have soccer practice at one of the soccer fields. I give them 4 stars because they do not have restrooms. Great neighborhood surrounding the park. Adult supervision recommended due to the playground area."

"For this park, there is no off-street parking and I did see no parking signs along both sides of the curb. You can park in the elementary school lot and then just cross the street. There is no sidewalk in the actual park, but you can still get your cardio in by running on the soccer field and the hills that go down to it. A few laps on that will get you a good workout. Downside though is watch out for those random dirt mounds-- not sure if anthills.. For sports lovers, besides the soccer field, there's also a basketball court with 2 nets and a volleyball court. It's nice how the sports areas are spread apart so you don't have to worry about balls flying astray and you can play in peace. There is an access-friendly ramp that you can take down to the park that connects directly to the play area, or you can just walk down the grassy slopes. The playground is not much too look up but it has a lot of slides to play on... Overall decent park."
