Named after Ivan, a TPD police dog who lost his life in the line of duty, the park features a one-acre dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. The site is fully fenced and includes amenities such as a concrete walking path, dog-friendly drinking fountains, benches, trees, shrubs, landscape irrigation, decomposed granite surface, boulders, and solar lights.

"This park has been a huge part of my childhood. I grew up here, playing tee ball, walking the dogs, swimming in the pool, or just hanging out for a barbecue on the Fourth of July."
"I went roller skating here, and the paths are almost all in need of repair. The bathrooms were fairly clean, though, as was the rest of the park. The play area for kids was large and had plenty for the kids to do, and even over break, it wasn't very busy."
"I took my granddaughter to the splash pad around 10:00 a.m. we were the only ones there for about an hour. A couple more families joined us & the kids had so much fun. The park is clean & safe. This neighborhood watches out for each other & people do not just roam around this area."
