"Sadly this place didn’t deliver. Came to visit a good friend and we decided to get tattoos together. She got a date and her mom’s signature and I got a flower behind my ear and it was just not well executed. My friend’s tattoo had bled out, he was heavy handed and it is really poorly written. I didn’t know number tattoo could be messed up. My tattoo is fine, but not as good as the photo I showed. My tattoo was 200$ and my friend’s was 150$ Not worth the work honestly. I would never begrudge price for talent. We got held up at shop for 2 hrs but that was 1 and half hrs talking, half hr actually working on tattoo Super nice people in this shop. I just will never get another traveling tattoo. I felt like we were taken advantage of Very unfortunate experience of an otherwise amazing trip to Phoenix"

"When looking for an artist for the first time, most tattoo shops can be intimidating and unwelcoming if you don't know anyone. Gypsy Rose is NOTHING like that! From the moment you walk through the door, all of the artists greet you in an open and professional manner, ready to answer any questions you might have. The shop is clean and comfortable and it doesn't feel weird to just sit and look through the artists' books. ALL of the artists are pleasant to deal with and help every step of the way. Each artist has his/her own style, and one is not afraid to introduce the other if they feel that a certain artist may fit the style/design better than the other because they want you to love your tattoo(s). I, personally, love Lloyd's style of work, but they all are so talented and create beautiful pieces and/or help you come up with a tattoo that you may have been envisioning, bringing it to life on skin. Additionally, they make sure that you are comfortable throughout the tattoo process and try to make it as painless as possible. Compared to other shops, Gypsy Rose's prices are incredibly reasonable. You are not paying for inflated egos here; just good, quality work and experience. I will not go anywhere else and obviously HIGHLY recommend."
