"If you have any desire for your footwear to look good after he repairs it don't use this man. I was mistaken in my choice of someone to repair my boots . I didn't read deep enough into the reviews to get past the ones that are obviously fiction. The repair seems to function but it looks awful and my $250 boots look like a tweaker took super glue to repair them. Zero attention to detail and just sloppy. He told me up front that he would have to glue the soles on but I had no idea how sloppily he would do it. He obviously has no pride in his workmanship. I don't know how he became a cobbler. It appears to me he inherited the building from someone who may have established a reputation in town but has since ruined it completely. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else"

"Gave them a call when my new ren faire boots started falling apart. Stopped by the shop. The man I worked with was very polite and explained the issue and what had happened. Took the boots and made the adjustments. Even provided information on how to avoid the issue in the future. Definitely earned a customer for additional repairs!"

"From start to finish this company is awesome. Explained everything well, gave directions for arriving at the shop due to the noise. Came right to the door, went over everything again. Had them both wrapped up in 45 minutes, honored his pricing. Not that I wanna come back, but next time I have anything that needs to be replaced. This will definitely be my go to"

"I called this shop yesterday for a ballpark estimate to cut down a pair of cowboy boots and add zippers. I was told $50-$80. I called back today to make sure they were onsite so I could bring in the boots. Evidently, I was talking to a different guy who asked me for the estimate I was given yesterday. I told him. He asked if the cost of zippers was mentioned. I said, I wasn’t sure. He told me that he gets $75-$80 just for the zippers, which caused me to laugh at what I considered an outrageous price for a pair of zippers. He got indignant, told me that the cost of the zippers (just material, mind you) was a factor of how good he was. He said have a good day and hung up in my ear. I didn’t even get a chance to ask for a total estimate, zippers plus labor. Hey, it’s his business and he can do what he wants with it, but he’s also wound a little too tight. Plenty of other shoe repair businesses I can patronize. And by the way, material should be marked up by some percentage, but your labor (craftsmanship) is the key factor in price. Not a pair of cheap zippers."

"I haven't had my boots repaired yet but talking to the owner and checking in on the progress this far has been really smooth. The owner is to the point and is very knowledgeable in his trade. When I first came in he explained the process for the shoe repair in a concise manner and I have a feeling that the boots will turn out fine. Please go out and support small businesses like these guys. 10/26/22 Update: I received the boots and they are better than I imagined them being. The two guys working here are true men of their craft. They cleaned my Redwings and put what I believe is a vibram basket weave sole. The soles look really great on the boots and feel more comfortable than they did when I had the old soles on them. They even cleaned the boots and gave me advice on how to care for them from here on out. They also told what to look for in future shoes I buy. I am definitely going to these two for future shoes and boot repairs. These guys are great and deserve more business."
