"It's my first time ever going to the dentist on my own, so you can imagine how anxious I was. I signed up for the new patient special which was $59 for a cleaning, x-ray, and exam. I was skeptical because I thought there was an additional cost, but nope it's straight up $59. That's an AMAZING deal! The exam and x-ray was straight to the point and explained thoroughly, and if I had any questions they made sure to break it down for me. I really wanna thank everyone that helped me feel calm today and helped with my teeth! I left pretty happy with clean teeth. :-)"

"If you go here, please get a second opinion on the dental work you need. Not only is Chelsea at the front desk rude and unprofessional, causing me to leave this practice after years of being a patient here. Now I’m seeing a new dentist and come to find out I didn’t even need half the work they said I did. I would have lost two perfectly good molars if I continued being a patient here. They said I needed roots canals over a year and an half ago but I haven’t had any pain yet. Now to find out at my new dentist I only have medium cavities in them and was no where near needing root canals was baffling. The dentist telling me I’m going to lose my teeth and adding significant stress to my life. My treatment plan with Almeada was over 16k, my new dentist will be under half that. Get a second opinion."

"I recently went to this dental clinic. The people are fine it's the Enron math accounting. I went for one root canal and crown the total cost is $1828 my insurance covers $2000 to be used like cash not based on procedure annually. They requested an additional $631 out of pocket from me. I contacted my insurance company who in turn contacted them and tried to explain my dental coverage and also told them to submit a authorization claim of they are concerned about receiving the $1898. I just received a call from Chelsea who was passively aggressively telling me about how I just don't understand how it works and asking why would I contact the insurance company about them. She then said they will no longer be seeing me as a patient and I had no plan of returning anyway and only went because they are in network. In short, please be careful when dealing with this dental clinic financially. They are trumping up the charges to submit to your insurance company and get upset when you question there accounting practices. I understand for traditional insurance they only pay up to a certain amount and in my case they would of paid the total amount of the procedure if they would not have inflated the charges of the procedure from $1898 to $3598. There are some other very good dentists in the valley that do not try to inflate charges on their patients with insurance. Most dentists offices will right off any amount that falls above the customary cash rate, not this place. They are greedy and just want all the money. Beware if you don't like throwing good money away. Please check out their reviews on yelp because these reviews seem to be alittle too gloriously exaggerated."

"I have a big fear of dentist from my past. I hadn't seen one in almost 20 yrs. Dr. Jason and Dr. Eva have renewed my faith in dentists. They have been so calming and talked me through everything. I will definitely go when I'm supposed to because I know I am in safe hands and they will take care of me. The whole staff if welcoming and patient and caring. Thank you Alameda Dental."
