Gentle Dental

"I haven’t seen the dentist yet and to be honest, I’m considering canceling my appointment because of the awful experience of scheduling my appointment. I felt like I was speaking human to someone speaking alien. My insurance company does not provide an insurance card. They just expect the practice to call them to verify my insurance coverage. I explained it at a minimum of 10 times to the person who answered the phone. They gave me a hard sell for braces. And now that I’ve read about a deeper cleaning that is above the cleaning our companies pay 100% for is pressed on patients. Do they get a kick back for these things? The whole experience has made me nervous and I have anxiety around going to new dentists, so I’m really questioning if this is the right practice for me."

"I had let them know that I was not a fan of dentists due to previous bad experiences both to myself and family members and they were extremely understanding of this and explained everything they were doing and helped me feel comfortable the entire time. The appointment scheduling process was a little rough which made me nervous, but the dentist and dental assistant were so extremely nice that it is worth it!"

"Worst teeth cleaning ever. They called me back nearly 30 minutes late and I was in the chair for less than 20 minutes! I thought, wow! That was the fastest cleaning ever! Went home, looked at my teeth and felt like nothing was done. Still had coffee and tea stains throughout. Been going to this office for over 10-years but things have become unorganized and poor quality control. On of that, last week I arrived for my appointment on time, they told me there was a scheduling error with the system and there wasn’t a hygienist available for me, even though I had gotten automatic texts and emails confirming my appointment. They asked me if I could reschedule, which I did, only to have a very poor experience. Not sure what’s happening with the office and staff but it’s time for me to move on. Best of luck."

"Never written a review before, but I feel compelled given the terrible treatment I've received at this office... I will mention that Dr. Susman is great, hygienists are great, but the front office staff (and Office Manager) are absolutely TERRIBLE! I was overcharged for two visits dating back to May 2023 and have been trying to get reimbursed ever since... called 8 times over the past 6 months and had insurance provider on the phone as well. A lot of finger pointing, blaming on software updates, new systems, and passing me around to different individuals. Spoken with Sarah (Office Manager) who will tell you that she'll fix the issue only to do absolutely nothing about it. Watch your billing very carefully with this group as once they overcharge you, you'll never see your money! It's too bad as I did enjoy this office prior to this experience."
