"For Dr. Erwin and his assistants Lucky & Audri- (Dr. Sarah Carney is great too) Recommend Dr. Erwin of the highest caliber, he's the only doctor in my recent adult years that's been able to successfully work on my mouth and I made it through the root canal procedure as well as filings, pain free. Didn't feel the drill with Dr. Erwin only, and didn't feel the numbing injections. He has the gift-take it from someone that shook like a leaf before the procedure. He is incredibly personable too. Much thanks and gratitude."

"Dr. Erwin is an excellent dentist. He replaced 2 crowns and 1 filling and did a very efficient job. I would highly recommend. Jordan was his assistant and I would highly recommend him also. He was understanding and kept me informed how long the procedure would take. I have had a great experience at Camelback Smiles Dentistry."

"Run, don’t walk….run! Everyone in the office is super nice, which makes this review hard to write, but if it saves someone’s life or teeth then it’s worth it. Whatever you do, get a second opinion elsewhere. The dentist here suggested I have all my teeth pulled and be fitted with either a removable denture or an all on 4. I visited 3 other dentists and they all disagreed"

"Trust, but verify verify verify. Just weeks after my extraction and replaced with posts, a letter came in the mail indicating that they will be Out of Network as of Nov 1 2023. According to Mr. Rodriguez, the branch manager, he did not know. He said, after cross talking, he and his team would look into helping me find an In Network provider. They have not. I keep following up, but the whole Camelback Smiles Dentistry team could not call and give me any updates. After all of these major problems, I still did not have any teeth cleaning. They left me looking and feeling like a monster. Update: As of today Mr Rodriguez and his team have not started any appeal process. Reps from both insurance companies have contacted Mr Rodriguez and team regarding confirmation of the appeal that was sent. Again, promises not kept. Also his " I can't be bothered" attitude should be addressed by the owner."

"The front office 'manager' - the person who takes your money and sets your next appointment if you need one lacks any semblance of customer service skills, demonstrated NO empathy and should not be working in a public facing role anywhere. The regular dentist speaks to you as if you are a child, has a 'fake' nice tone that is borderline condescending - patronizing. She appears to be barely past whatever 'residency' dentists go through before being allowed to work without oversight. I do believe all of these other reviews that tell of nefarious billing practices as I experienced this myself. In preparation for major periodontics surgery, I paid $508 for a temporary full lower denture to be made for me to wear so I wouldn't be without lower teeth for 4 to 6 months while I healed. up. So, on the day of my surgery, without ever seeing this temp denture I paid over $500 for, I wake up post op with it and a huge amount of gauze in my mouth. I am numb, and still groggy from sedation, I am wheeled out to my family member's car (at the BACK door) for my ride home. Within two hours the anesthetic is wearing off, the temp denture feels humongous in my mouth and I begin to feel sharp intense pain that is not where the surgery was done. The temp denture is so poorly made it has sharp edges and minimal recessed area for it to rest on my gum ridge, it has caused injury in a separate area from the surgery site - injury that is much more painful than the post op pain I am experiencing. I carefully removed all the gauze, then the denture and it looks like a 3rd grader made it on 'bring your kid to work day'. It is 100% unusable! (See pictures ) I am now in extreme pain that the pain management meds I was prescribed are not putting a dent in. My pain is unnecessary, caused by substandard product and services ... I hurt so much right now!! I get into my car, go back to the dental office and place their temp denture on the counter and request my money back. After the front office person cops an attitude because I have put her out with my vocalizing my dissatisfaction and wanting a refund, another person leads me to the very back of the offices - away from their other unsuspecting patients I am stashed in an exam room and told that the dentist/office manager will be with me asap.... I wait 5 minutes., ... 10 minutes... 15 minutes - all the time in extreme pain. Making me wait for them to decide to address my issue at their convenience was not flying! I left, told them I will deal with their lack of concern for having caused me unnecessary injury with their shoddy overpriced service another way. I will not wait in extreme pain only to have to explain - again that I want a refund for the unusable denture they provided to me for $508 --- And this is just for starters with all the negative experience moments with them. Camelback, I don't want to discuss this further, I want my money back!"
