"Amazing place. To start the front desk was amazing, I showed up to the wrong location but the receptionist made sure it was no big deal. The atmosphere is amazing. Julia K did my hair and executed it perfectly. I thought we were about halfway done and then she said “all done!” And I look and feel great. 100% will be coming back for Julia and the quick great cut!"

"Was 11 minutes late to my appointment at 1:45 for a benchmark. They explained they no longer had time to honor the full service and could only do an express cut. My cut was done by 2:20. Trying to walk back the math to understand how my 11 minute tardiness would have disrupted the schedule. The lack of flexibility was frustrating seeing as my butt hit the rinse chair at 2:15. (All, I think, within the parameters of what the schedule allows for a benchmark.) All felt rushed. Kinda sucked. Don’t plan to return. Everyone was otherwise pleasant and professional. But def felt like they were using my tardiness as a reason to not have to provide the full service when they otherwise could have at no real detriment to anyone’s time. Made me feel less than. Was a bummer."

"If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. From start to finish this place is fantastic. The women at the front are always friendly and helpful. The environment is relaxing and comfortable. The entire place is always clean and welcoming. I never got a hair cut I didn't love. I have to give a special shoutout to Mckenzie who I saw for the last 6 months. She is always positive and never fails to give you a good laugh. Not to mention the great work that she does. If I hadn't moved out of the area this would have stayed as the only place I get my hair cut."

"Always skeptical to come to a new place, especially when I’ve lived in NYC for the past 20 years… was referred to this place and figured I’d give it a shot. Let’s just say that the stylist Stephanie completely nailed my haircut and followed my preferences. I expected the place to be busy and it wasn’t at all - giving it 4 stars because they need a full time receptionist to be there to welcome and check people in & out / a different stylist who had to leave her client (not Stephanie) went to check me out and wasn’t very familiar with the front desk computer: train ALL your stylists to run the desk AND attend to their customers if you’re not going to hire a full time receptionist who knows what they’re doing… otherwise - a clean and interesting facility that I’ll probably be back to. Pricing is a little steep/high-end for a pretty basic experience and employees who are not trained to do it all (ie run the desk AND be cutting hair - but this is a management/short-staffed issue)"

"I would like to start by saying, i have NEVER in my life left a single review for any business or product [I'm 27] So this takes the cake. Came in expecting a great hair cut, the stylist (who will remain unnamed, but we'll call her sara.) asked what I wanted for a cut. I showed her 4 reference photos, with specific instructions for a taper fade, and NOT to go far up my sides. She said "no problem, I can do that" but it was in fact, very much a problem. Not only did I not receive a taper fade, she cut my hair all the way up to the top, left me virtually nothing but a small patch (and i started with a fro, but now i have a fro-no-mo) I got home, and had to buzz it ALL off as there was absolutely no way of salvaging it, believe me I tried. So one and a half years of hair growth, love and care, gone in a few short minutes. I'm devastated, this was the worst stylist, and haircut I've ever received (I've gotten quite a few to say the least) the ONLY thing stopping this from haunting my dreams (well, most of them) is the front-end receptionist, who did an excellent (dare i say, exquisite) job of spotting an unhappy customer, and giving some of the best customer service across not 1, but TWO County lines. The manager was also a pleasure to interact with, and while my hair cut ended up being free, alas, the price was still too high. I would like to caution anyone coming here, the prices are steep, and that is in no way indicative of the stylist's skill you're paying for. Just because it's expensive doesnt always mean its better. Benefit from my mistake brothers and sisters, for tonight, my hair feasts in the banquet halls of Valhalla, where 5% minoxidil flows freely like mead. Boardroom styling lounge should change its slogan to "hair today, gone tomorrow.""
