"I've been there several times and the girls are nice and the prices are great but I've never left feeling truly satisfied. And actually on my most recent visit, I asked for curtain bangs starting at the cheek. She blowdried my hair and I thought it was nice but after a few days I realized she barely trimmed my existing face framing layers and I didn't get what I wanted at all. Now I'm sad. I'm not the complaining type but I probably won't go back."

"Ask for Jess she is an amazing hairstylist. Men or women, she is the best in town. My wife and I both go see her. Prices are very fair considering the level of service and the quality of the technician. I'm sure other stylists there are good as well, but I know for sure if you ask for Jess you will be very happy."

"I feel very comfortable having my hair done at 20 Volume Salon and Spa. All the stylist are friendly and welcoming. I appreciate the safety measures they have in place. Both my son and I get our hair cut and styled by Mateo. He does an excellent job! Mateo is very skilled. He is patient and listens to what we have to say, answers our questions, and checks in with us throughout the haircut to make sure we are happy. "I have gotten my haircut by Mateo twice now and both times he has done amazing work! He always checks in on what concerns I have with my hair and gives me tips and suggestions on how to improve. He also very much stays true to the cut and style that you want. If I say I want a trim that’s what i’m getting, it’s not like going to a Super Cuts and you end up going home with your hair 4 inches shorter than you planned. Mateo is very meticulous with his work and will take the time throughout the haircut to see if you like the way it is looking. Overall, I love both of the haircuts I have gotten, and I have so much trust in him that he won’t let me leave the salon with something I didn’t want!"

"I highly recommend Mateo for your hair styling needs!!! After having the same hair stylist for 20 years I was very nervous to find a stylist when I moved to AZ. I had my hair cut and highlighted by a couple master stylists who didn't do as good of a job as Matteo did on my hair! I thought, heck I'm going to risk it to get the biscuit and go with someone who has less experience than the master level to see if I would get better results and I ABSOLUTELY did not regret it! He listens to exactly what you are explaining and has the ability to make amazing suggestions for hair care. If we wouldn't have left AZ, he would have been my go to stylist for as long as possible! He did such an amazing job, that I made sure to get my hair cut one last time only 2 weeks after my previous cut by him, so that I didn't have to rush to find a new stylist when we moved!
