"I recently moved to the area, as many of us have. Trying to find the right services can be difficult, especially a dentist. I am a firm believer in finding a good dentist, as it is critical to maintaining good health. This is especially important when it comes to preventive care. A place you want to come back to as required I found Legacy Smiles was that kind of place. From my initial inquiry in discussion with Tanner on the phone, I was immediately at ease with LS. His professional approach to customer service was outstanding and his kind demeanor in accommodating my schedule, put me at ease. Nice job sir! Once upon entering I noticed the happy face in the waiting area as they showed me they liked their dentist. I immediately found out why when Melissa greeted me with enthusiasm and a great smile! Kind in her approach and direct in quickly getting me checked in and about my way was spot on. When I was done she continued her excellent customer service in checking me out. Clearly explaining my next step procedures, scheduling and financial obligations. Great customer service thank you! Being a new patient, the indoc can be a pain both physically and time wise. However, the great customer service continued with Alyssa, on loan from the Prescott office was amazing! She made me feel relaxed, clear and direct in explaining LS process for new patient. Plus, has a great smile, excellent attitude and good at her job. Downside, she works in Prescott and this office is in Peoria. The biggest thing that she did was make me feel welcomed. Especially when the assigned dentist was behind due to another appointment going longer, she made me aware and was very apologetic. After a little longer she took it upon herself to enlist another dentist to do my evaluation, Dr Chio. I appreciate Alyssa's bedside manner and her professionalism, she is amazing and the reason for me wanting to leave a response for LS, she is kind hearted and truly cares. And last but not least, Dr Chio, very professional, straight to the point and good at her job! She knew the situation upon coming in the room and was just as apologetic as Alyssa. She jumped right in and gotter done! Not great news but how she explained and what was discussed, I was confident in the next step procedures. She was nice, gentle and very calming demeanor, characteristics I find critical in my medical team. Overall, 5 Star experience, great people, relaxed environment with people I truly care about their work and their clients! Thank you very much Tanner, Melissa, Alyssa and Dr Chio great job, well done. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit!"

"Do not go here!! I scheduled an annual cleaning after my initial appointment. Showed up today and was told I needed to have a “medium clean” and it wasn’t an option to do the regular annual clean. Not only was this NEVER discussed with me, it would have been over $200 instead of fully covered by insurance. They care more about money than their patients."

Then they went a step further to ensure that I received everything necessary under my dental benefits to ensure that it was all covered before my benefits termed at the end of the month to avoid out of pocket costs!"
