"Not very happy at sportsman's wearhouse, purchased the Taurus GX4 that was advertised online. Got my confirmation email, go to pick up the gun and it's different from the one pictured in the ad? Not optics ready as shown in the pictures. I guess it's an honest mistake but I wasted my morning and an hour round trip drive to this specific sportsman's location. The employees were friendly enough and apologized and canceled my order but I wasn't offered any compensation, no discount towards the optics ready model that was advertised. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth sportsman's, hopefully the credit won't take to long to hit my account, pretty disappointing"

"Great selection of prices. The gun counter is always a nightmare though. 6 people will be standing there but only one will be working. The last time we were there, they were out of stock of the gun we wanted to purchase. We asked an assoiciate to check another store, but the associate told us no because, "no one will probably answer." He could have at least pretended to try or care."

"Read other reviews with this same complaint. After driving an hour round trip, and using up expensive gas, this store did not have any of the items on their website. I specifically chose to review stock available in this particular store and then made the long trip there when the website showed Carhartt items on sale. All were two times the price shown on the website; actually some of the worse prices. I asked an associate and she said that they had just increased all prices a couple days before. I had gone to the trouble of refreshing the website Carhartt page just before leaving after clearing cache. Why don't they show accurate prices on their website? Also looked for 115 grain 9mm that was advertised on the website for a good price. Not available in this store. Will not return."

"This store has one the fastest gun counters, and I will say it's still slow no matter what. The system they have down is somewhat working. Bass pro shop, I can't even get a smile out of them. But everyone at the counter is friendly and knowledgeable, also resourceful. If they don't have the answer they immediately look for it. Store is adequately stocked. The staff does try! Even with a smile."
