"We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to a different one. We are glad we did. The food is amazing. It gave me Chipotle vibes as in you choose the protein and whatever else you want to make your dish. But this food is 100% better tasting and they actually give you big portions without having to ask them for more. Janet and Paulina have served us the evenings that we have gone and they are amazing hosts."
"You need to go see Gary, the General Manager. What a friendly helpful guy. I drove through with no real expectation and was so pleased. The rice is SO good. I loved how creamy the beans were. The coke was delicious. I got a chicken street taco and a steak street taco. They were really fresh and tasty. The drive-thru makes is super easy to get a quick fresh meal."
"Nice place, huge portions. Service was great! I was not a fan of the mesquite fired; I had Chicken quesadilla. Lots of chicken on it. I would like to see a little more cheese. Husband has a burrito. He liked the very hot sauce. They do have a drive thru if you don't wish to dine in."
"I’ve been wanting to try Mr Mesquite, now Mesquite Fresh Street Mex. Hubby and I finally went to the one in Gilbert today for lunch. Hubby ordered two “mixed” (chicken and steak) street tacos. I ordered a mixed “killer burrito” with refried beans, rice, cheese and guacamole creama. Delicious!! Just the way I like my burritos prepared. The guy filled it so full the burrito started coming apart when I held it to eat. It was so big I could only eat half. Hubby finished the other half. We got the churro chips for dessert. Those were yummy too. Entrance and inside are wheelchair friendly."
