"Order is always wrong and sloppily made. Went there 2x the 2nd time was the final straw. Pretty sure our pizza had been sitting there for a few hours. Even the garlic sauce had cooled."

"Ordered pizza for delivery from here and got the nastiest, coldest, and worst pizza of my life. Also...they left out the garlic sauce that I ordered. No point in calling and complaining because they obviously don't care. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION."

"Sodium warning! Have you ever sat alone and wondered how I am going to pay for my funeral? The embalming process is extremely expensive. I have a solution for you and it's extremely cheap! Long ago before embalming practices were made modern and controlled by corporations they used salt and frankincense to preserve bodies. I feel after eating half of this pizza that I am now on my way to be perfectly preserved due to all of the salt. I understand that I should have read the website and the amount of sodium that is used in the preservation of the supplies that are put on the pizza. Of course this does not include the vegetables. Everything that isn't a vegetable was extremely high in salt. I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob and I've had pizzas all over the valley and all over the United States. I often make pizza at home from scratch when I have the time. I can, with all honesty, tell you that none of the other pizza shops that I have frequented while living in Arizona have had this high of salt. My feet and my fingers swelled up which was a complete and total shock to me. The medical term for this is called edema. It is retention of water due to the amount of salt that is in your bloodstream. Since last night I have been on a steady diet of fruits, vegetables and water. The swelling has gone down and I am happy about it. My 15-year-old son who got two orders of wings with Buffalo sauce, said Dad, those are some of the worst wings I've ever had. I never want to eat there again. Now you have to understand that 15-year-old kids will eat anything. They are not at the mercy of time as I am at 52. They're stomachs are lined with steel and teflon they can literally eat anything and they will be fine. My son is not fine and he can eat the worst junk food. Understand that he'll eat anywhere. He's not even picky. This is literally the first time this year that he has given his disapproval of something he ate. Now if anyone from Papa John's is reading this, please understand that this is my opinion. But seriously, why is the sodium so high in the pizzas it doesn't even make sense. I understand that it is not as expensive as eating at Grimaldi's and maybe that's it. I have to pay more money to eat a higher quality of dough and ingredients with a low sodium balance. I have decided that I will be buying a pizza oven very soon and it will sit out on my deck because it just seems that since the pandemic everything kind of sucks right now as far as food. There are exceptions such as Gus's famous fried chicken in Mesa, which when I am placed into my casket after eating my last meal of Papa John's, they will place some of the fried chicken from Gus's so I can enjoy this food in the afterlife. I know people are going to say what did you expect? It's Papa John's? I didn't expect the salt to be so severe that I considered it to be a practical approach to alternative embalming practices. These are my personal opinions and should not be interpreted as fact. J.V.N"

"Quality is no longer there. Lazy employees cannot cut a pizza or cheese sticks correctly. Cheese sticks over cooked and taste like cardboard. Overpriced for product delivered!"

"Called into this location after picking up our pizza. When we opened the box we were surprise that the pizza was thin crust, but after calling the back and speaking to a person that identified themself as the GM we were shocked by the way she treated us. I tried to explain to her that the crust look like a thin crust pizza. She said “ we do not make thin crust in 16’ “. Then I tried to further explain to her that the pizza clearly did not look or taste like the original crust pizza. That is when she became very rude saying, “ first you said it was a thin crust, now you seeing saying the pizza doesn’t taste right”. I tried to explain to her I would bring the pizza back so she could see it was not made right. That is when she rudely said, I am going to void the order (in a rude and unprofessional manner) I cannot believe that papa John’s has some one that rude working as a manager. I have pictures below this does not look like original dough."
