Gravity Coffee

"Expensive Milkshake. I drink Black Rock daily and always get 4 shots of espresso in a medium sized drink. My fiance and I decided to try something new and stopped by Gravity. There was no line, and I worried. Once at the door to order, the service was friendly. I explained in detail that I wanted 4 shots of espresso and would pay any amount for the extra espresso. The 2 girls started kind of softly arguing about what and wasn't in the drinks and what was what. The girl told me there would be 4 shots of espresso in a medium Blended White Chocolate and also 4 shots in a medium Blended Snickers so that's what we ordered. We paid $18 and the drinks looked absolutely NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. No drizzle or Carmel or anything at all. I had explained that we don't go to Starbucks or Dutch because they taste like sugar and milk. The batista assured me they would taste like coffee. She then tried to sell me a gift card before I even tasted the drinks. I'm very glad I did not purchase a gift card because the drinks did not look anything like pictured and they tasted like DIABETES in a cup. It was SO INCREDIBLY sugar loaded that you couldn't taste any coffee at all. I mean not even a little bit. There is no way there was 4 shots of espresso in either drink. I won't return. We left Gravity and literally drove right down to Black Rock and ordered our regular Carmel Truffle with 2 extra shots and could immediately taste the coffee. This place is for energy drinks not coffee. Save your money and just go to Black Rock."

"Their small is $5 bucks almost $6 for only 16oz. The drinks were mediocre and full of ice. Look at the photo and you’ll see the cup is just packed with ice. Tastes like syrup. 4 sips and it’s gone. Baristas give you dirty looks as they make the drinks. They usually never have a line but I understand why now. Would never come back here either."

"Drive through was packed and didn’t move very quickly, but once we ordered at the door, it was made pretty quick. Coffee’s the best way to start the day, and I love the taste of it, but I feel like I’m just drinking cereal milk? I ordered The Force, one that isn’t displayed, but it just reminds me of cocoa pebbles milk. It’s not bad necessarily, but it’s not a coffee that I’d go out of my way to get, or that I would actively desire again. My boyfriend got an Americano, and he’s also oddly on the fence about the taste. He said, “how do you describe bitter but smooth?” When I asked how the coffee bean tasted. The reviews about sweetness aren’t wrong, if you want to taste the coffee. Decent, but I’ll probably stick to Black Rock."

"I was instantly excited to try this new spot when I saw it as I was randomly driving by the area. Pros are it’s very visible from the street and feels like it invites you in visually, drive thru is long to not block parking lot traffic and service was amazing. A few cons for me were the confusion or where to order at first because there are so many menus as you’re wrapping around the building with small lettering telling you to continue forward. Basically you wrap all the way around and order with three barista who is standing at an open door. I did notice they have employees walking out to cars as the line grew which is great as well. I had never even heard of Gravity Coffee so I asked some questions and was told they are originally from Washington and currently opening multiple locations in Arizona. This location is off Bell and 51st Ave in Glendale. I decided to try something new since I didn’t see my typically cold brew and went with a Hyperspace. It is white coffee with white chocolate, coconut, and caramel drizzle. I ordered a 16oz . It was pretty pricy at nearly 7 dollars, but I decided to give it a try. I’m always down for coffee. I haven’t had too much white coffee in the past. While it was pretty smooth I tasted more coconut than anything. There wasn’t as much caramel drizzle either. When I took my first few sips I got that sugar grit feeling in my teeth. Once I mixed it it was a bit better, but it definitely wasn’t a drink for me. If I did return I’d go for something more like a macchiato or such. Again, service was amazing and they even told me about their rewards program if I wanted to earn points towards future purchases. Unfortunately I left feeling like I needed a whole new coffee because this one had zero coffee taste just coconut and sugar."

"Ended up spending $20 at their grand opening for 3 drinks when it should of been cheaper... Bought a 24oz Caramel Macchiato, 16oz Oreo Shake & 16oz Mango Smoothie. Don't get me wrong, the drinks were amazing but I found out they charged my friends the grand opening prices, which were much CHEAPER when they went the SAME DAY, but charged me FULL PRICE going the same day... Felt unfair to me..."
