"Where are the owners or managers of this place!!!! Third time shame on me! The food hasn’t changed after all the negative comments! A bunch of high school kids running this place and don’t know a thing! Where is the leader? The food is a disappointment and it’s VERRADO and the only place close by to eat! Ordered enchiladas got an old crumbly tortilla! And a smear of sauce, a spoonful of beans and rice! How are they still open! Second time here and this time I went through the drive thru waited for 5mins and no one answered I go inside and these little kids are all talking in the back doing absolutely nothing. The restaurant is a huge mess! So sad how theres no adult is here managing these little kids. Super dirty! Super unorganized, kids on their phone and food tasted disgusting the rice was all hard. The owner, store manager who ever runs this place needs to get it under control!"

Compared to other branches, this particular Cafe Rio fell short in several aspects, notably in quality control and service. Service was another area where this Cafe Rio was disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, a stark contrast to the warm and attentive service I've experienced elsewhere. I had to wait longer than usual for my order, and when I sought assistance, the response was sluggish and not very helpful. However, it's worth noting that the environment at this Cafe Rio location was a positive aspect. The dining area was clean, well-decorated, and inviting. The ambiance was pleasant, making it a potentially nice place to dine in if the other issues were addressed. Overall, while the environment was a redeeming quality, the poor service and lack of quality control significantly marred my dining experience. I hope this Cafe Rio can take steps to align with the higher standards of their other locations, ensuring consistent quality and service across all their branches."

"Congratulations on being the worst Cafe Rio I have ever been to. I live in Verrado so conveniently, given this location way too many chances to improve. The quality of food is terrible. Tacos sometimes have a teaspoon of meat or other times no lettuce or tomatoes etc. . Enchiladas were cold and didn’t have cheese melted. Recently, I ordered food and waited for my order. Finally went to the cashier and asked where my order was, they said they didn’t receive the order. Had to go get my phone and come back to show it to them on phone app. I’ll drive to an inconvenient location, further away because this place is a MAJOR LETDOWN! Corporate needs to step in and train these Yahoos or shut this location down, it’s a disgrace to Cafe Rio’s elsewhere."

"Ordered food to go and I did not get my full order. In order to get my full order I was informed I would have to pay for a second delivery charge or they would refund my credit card in 15 days. I ordered through the Cafe Rio app and was informed that Cafe Rio is not responsible for any items missing but they will let the location know that they missed items. When I asked customer service if a refund and not delivered was the best option available, I was hung up on. I had ordered a few times without issue but the chain is lacking when they mess up an order and the meals ordered for me and my family were not fulfilled for everyone. Additionally, customer service personnel need training to not talk over the customer each time they begin to speak and they certainly need to answer the simple question of, is that the best option? I'm assuming the best they do is a refund for any item missing, but not account for delivery fees."

"I usually love Cafe Rio and usually order from the Goodyear location. This will be the first and last time I order from the Buckeye location. All the food was cooking and prepared incorrectly. The sweet pork wasn’t sweet and literally had no sauce on it. The house creamy dressing had way too much vinegar and the Queso was missing ingredients. It all just didn’t taste right. I will say my order was prepared quickly and ready upon arrival. The restaurant was empty and seemed well kept. Greatly disappointed in the flavors of the food."
