"Husband took me here to get some work boots they say clearance on some of the stuff but you can’t really tell the difference on Clarence versus non-clearance. However, work boots work great because I’m a trucker so I’m grateful for that."
"The front workers were kind, polite, and definitely know they are there to help people. When I was sent to the back for boot laces it took forever to find the young man that works in that department. I had to get his attention multiple times. He was staring off into space. I would have thought it was a medical problem BUT he absolutely REEKED of weed. He couldn’t comprehend my question, “ I am looking for bootlaces. Where would they be?” I, no help from him, found them myself and finished my purchase. They are quite lacking in inventory and the store seems old and dirty."

"I have always enjoyed Big 5 and have given other places a good review. They have a great selection and the prices are good. Now, this place would have gotten a 4, maybe a 5. If not for the fact that I stood in the shoes section for 5 mins waiting for some help, then when I finally went and got someone. When they came down, I asked for some shoe sizes. All they did was point at the boxes on the shelf and say if the size is not there to come and get them again. So, unfortunately, they lost 2 points for 1 bad employee. Maybe it will be better next time."
