"I ordered a water heater from Lowes. I picked it up and it looked like it was in a brown cardboard box that had been pieced together. I took it anyway and once I got home I unboxed it. It was actually two boxes that had been taped together. The bead board foam that was in the bottom had been broken in half and lapped over each half to make it fit in the new box. The water heater had stains all over the sides and the instruction manual had stains all over it. I opened a case number with Lowes and was told to take it back to the store and ask for a Manager who could look up the case number and take care of the problem. The manager would not even look at the case number and acted like the water heater was fine. It had just had some water spilled on it so it should be good. I asked her if she would put it in her house to which she would not answer. I also canceled my refrigerator that I had on order with Lowes too. What a joke this Lowes is. I will take my business elsewhere. UPDATE: I called Lowes as asked in their reply to my bad review only to be told that they would document that I called back in my case file! So just another 30 minutes wasted on this company. Really?"
