"Good place to swim on a really hot day. The water is brutally cold but pretty clear and clean. Lots of geese and seagulls but we enjoyed our day there."

"Bike path, disc golf, snack/rentals and a bitchin' fountain to kayak under. Let's go! Entrance is just past Discovery park (going E, before the damn), don't miss it. Boat launch is on the damn. Tip: $7 cash to park if you don't have a state park pass."

"They have easy access to restrooms. The price for parking is $5 dollars, and they rent out wake boards. They sell snacks and drinks as well. Definitely family friendly with lots of shade and volleyball pits. And the water is clean."

"Really neat place to take the family! The area is well maintained and kept clean. The bathrooms are closed due to COVID-19 but the small changing areas just inside the restroom perimeter are accessible for private changing still. The geyser is a neat feature the kids love and the little boat rental shack is open and has concessions with free hand pumps for usage if you forgot yours for an inflatable raft; so it’s still a good place in spite of all the closures!"
