"Tours run often enough there is little wait. A lot of interesting stuff at the store/tour depot! Trolley ride was fun & informative. Mine tour was great! Lee was good clean fun, full of knowledge & experience. He gave 2 book suggestions that I made note of & plan to check out. Fabulous way to spend a little over an hour!"

"The tour of the mine which was wonderful and the guide a former miner Fast Freddie was very knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining was outstanding. I would give this place 5 stars however, the driver for the tour was indifferent to the female military members on the tour. He started out asking were there any military or vets on board. Those that were, raised their hands including myself and a fellow female military vet. He acknowledged the male vets by speaking to them directly but never acknowledged the female vets. It was evident he focused on the male vets by engaging them during the drive to the mine and back. If you are going to ask the question be courteous enough to acknowledge all members of the military or do not ask the question in the first place. The driver mentioned Wyatt Earp during his talk. As we were dropped off, I tried to engage with the driver to let him know that my ancestrial family had ties with Wyatt Earp he basically brushed me off. My friend had the same feeling during the drive. I then left and now my review speaks for itself. Without saying the word sexist I think I am getting my point across."

"One of our favorite stops on our trip! Well worth going!! All the tour guides are retired miners, who really know what they're talking about. Our kids loved (Lenny) our guide's humor! We were also very impressed with the trolley driver and the lady who checked us in at the beginning of the tour! She really helped us out!"
