"Nice and clean. Becky and Foxy keep the spaces in great shape. Cleanest bathrooms and smell good even when it's really hot."

"Great small FCFS campground. Park was clean, restrooms well stocked and clean. Firepit at site with grate for cooking. We used our new car attached tent for shade and privacy while sleeping in car. Not too buggy there, infact no mosquito bites for either of us of two days/nights camping. Close enough to Deary for a grocery/supply run. And a must try is the Pie Safe Bakery in town as well. Only one downside for this outing and not the parks fault at all, but a lot of target shooting nearby that took away some of the quiet nature sounds. Will definitely return to this wonderful gem in Idaho."

"Campsites were very clean. Pit toilets in good condition with very little odor. Roads clear and easy to navigate on the drive up. Some sites have excellent privacy and all of the parking aprons are smooth and level. Went down on a Wednesday and left on a Friday. Campgrounds was mostly empty and quiet but started filling up and getting noisy on Friday. Almost no mosquitos despite a creek being close by. A decent campground for a short stay."

"Went tent camping here. The place is well kept: Bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked, there’s a basketball hoop nearby (basketballs provided by camp host), a large meeting area, and plenty of stacked wood laying around free for use. River immediately next to camp. There’s only one trail in camp – more of a walkabout on the outskirts. You can break out a little into some undeveloped trails where there’s plenty of cattle nearby. There’s another nicer trail outside of camp a quarter mile away with parking. Each site is nice and there’s plenty to pick from. Parking is wide/spacious for each one and I saw several RVs around. Sites ranged from heavily shaded with plenty of space, to a few which were exposed out in the open or would only fit a small tent. There’s a hill in the middle of the main loop separating the camp sites which maintains a moderate level of privacy and noise to a minimum. The outer loop is a more exposed to the trail (the walkabout trail overlooks the backyards of each outer loop campground. There’s two water pumps around the camp but unless you park close, you’ll want to bring something to store water in. Minimal / no cell coverage for Verizon (able to send a couple of texts, otherwise nothing). The camp hosts are diligent but friendly. Was asked promptly to keep my speed low when I came in off the highway (watch out for that initial downhill slant), but otherwise we got along fine and enjoyed an hour or more of nice conversation. This isn’t the type of place you want to break the rules at, but you can also depend on safety for kids, clean facilities, nice sites, and support if you need. They offered movies & croquet when I was there and clearly care about their guests."
