"I originally called the competition on a Friday morning, they said they’d be out that day. They called back around 4 stating they would not be coming out. I called veterans and had Derek, the owner, there within the hour. Derek got the parts quick and was able to get them in quickly and below budget. "We have several locations and seem to be in constant need of something. We KNOW how busy the HVAC and AC people are in town. In years past it has been a struggle to get techs over for an estimate, assessment, repair, whatever. Since Derek started in town he is just as busy. I read in some of the other reviews that people were not happy about having to wait for callbacks or parts. Most of these are because he and his crew have been trying so hard to service everyone that calls. We are pretty demanding customers also. EVERY business in town is short-staffed-- businesses are working on the projects, leaving less time for customer service. When it is really important, I call back to check (sometimes he hasn't been able to understand the fast-talking message I left, or he is busy finishing up work for someone else's emergency). He has always done his best to take care of the problem. He DOES work VERY long hours (once he finished up at 10PM and we weren't his last stop that night). Veteran's is honest, experienced, quick, reasonable, and worth waiting for."
