"The “too long; didn’t read” version is that Tony is extremely efficient, makes sure you know what’s going on, often ahead of anything happening, and will keep the end goal in mind (and remind you, if necessary) even when you may get caught up in everything else going on. Due to this, he does not waste your time or his, and, subsequently, this reflects in his (very reasonable) billing. To top it off, all of his office staff are absolute dreams to work with, yet you will still be largely communicating with Tony, himself. I first worked with Tony in 2017. Ultimately, my son’s father and I needed a parenting plan and some things hashed out formally. I quickly learned how golden Tony was as an attorney and have been enthusiastically referring people to him since. This year (2023), through a series of sad and unusual events, I became the administrator of my son’s father’s estate. I was contacted by a law office working on some ongoing litigation on behalf of my ex when we all suddenly found out his condition had quickly deteriorated. Due to this particular turn of events, I wound up working with three sets of attorneys I did not hire. I immediately emailed Tony after I was contacted by that office. I wanted to let him know the 2017 case would no longer require oversight and to ask him for any advice he could lend, as I was headed for some uncharted waters. My first meeting with that law office was that same day. They were in a hurry to get a document signed that would allow them to continue their case. I asked them to call Tony so I could be properly advised. Between the 10 minute phone call and my previous email, Tony later emailed me summing up where they currently were, what transpired, and what was likely to be ahead. In a single, short paragraph. Which was more direct and explicit information than I received in an hour+ long meeting with that office. I find this a true testament to his knowledge of the law and his efficiency and ease in communicating with clients, something he has always done with me. After this experience I can emphatically state that not every attorney gets this or is able to do this. Through all of this, Tony has functioned as my liaison with the two offices I had to interface with the most, and handled another aspect I needed done to complete the estate. One office was extremely problematic and, while a ridiculous spectacle at various junctures, Tony took the brunt of it for me and that case was completed. Despite their unwillingness to do so, he conducted himself professionally and didn’t brook any guff while also getting it moved to the finish line more efficiently than that office had in mind. The other office has been aggressively mediocre. Not the worst, but very slow to respond to queries, sometimes completely ignoring my questions and the most astonished that I would want to know what was happening and what kind of timeline we were looking at. Tony’s been the quickest to respond out of all the offices I’ve dealt with, often by a considerable lead, and I always had an answer of how to move forward. Because his practice has been varied, he has a large knowledge base to draw from. His manner is kind and he is so considerate that his clients don’t know all of the things he knows and are likely scared having to walk out something that requires an attorney. We’ve all heard horror stories about various kinds of court cases, especially family law. He’s been such an assurance that, though often overburdened and not without flaw, the court really is in the corner of making sure things are just and fair. With a good advocate in your corner, making sure you understand what is currently in front of you and what’s coming down the road, it is a much easier thing to walk out. Knowing he continually has your best interest in mind and will not stop moving towards that end, regardless of what the other side is up to, is a great help, too. He moves with integrity and I am so pleased to have him represent me. I can't recommend him highly enough!"

"Hands down Tony is the best family law attorney in the Wichita area. He knows the laws in and out. He will represent you to the fullest extent. He is very responsive to emails and calls. Credit is also due to his staff who are friendly and timely also. The whole experience was great and the whole firm makes a difficult situation easy to navigate. Don’t waist your time with any other attorney."

"Before meeting Tony, I did plenty of research online and calling other firms in KC to see who they recommended for child custody cases in Wichita and the most feedback I got was Tony Potter. Him and his staff have been so easy to work with. Tony himself always makes time for calls or emails and I know he doesn't have to. He's always gave me sound advice and walks me through his reasoning to help me understand. When my emotions have been high Tony is there cool and collected with reasonable advice to give. The staff works well with coordinating dates and times convenient for your schedule. I've had zero issues with filings or anything else that needs to be done in a timely fashion. My case is still pending but I wanted to get this review out there for anyone who is in between on choosing an attorney. Win or lose I feel like I have been with the best in Wichita."

Tony gives distinguished advice and is an appreciable advocate. He doesn’t play dirty and is very fair, but will fight for you. "I used Tony Potter in a recent (2022) custody modification case and would high recommend him to anyone. From the beginning he made me feel comfortable and established a good foundation of trust. Though my case took much longer than it should have, Tony and his team continued to press the other side for resolutions without backing down from what I established as my limits. He was always prompt with responses to myself, the court, and the other lawyer, which was something not all lawyers can achieve. I hope I don’t need to use Tony’s services in the future, but if I do I would absolutely retain him again and again."
