"If you ever want to go on a fishing trip with the family in the high country of McCall, Idaho. Timber Creek Lodge is nestled right next to a lake whose fishing rivals anywhere else. We were there for a wedding by the lake and normally during this time of year it’s cold there’s still some ice on the lake but fishing is great. Unfortunately, for the bride and groom there lakeside wedding had to be indoors due to three feet of snow on the ground. Plows had struggled to clear paths to the location and minimized the amount of people who could attend the wedding. The plan was for a private ceremony anyway so it still worked. Without us blocking the road. The lodge is very roomy. Excellent kitchen and other amenities. The lodge can serve large groups and I have not seen a lodge with two washers and two dryers in the utility room. So the lodge is prepared for business. So come to McCall, Idaho and get a taste of a pristine location up in the high country of this nation. The setting and scenery is beautiful. And you won’t regret bringing your children somewhere that seems untouched by the kind of things going on in your large cities these days. You can show them the kind of life that usually went on in the past in the majority of places in this country. That really allows you to see what America used to be really all about. You can show them that it’s really not a fading dream. It’s not an overran national park. It’s still the Heartland of America. Come and enjoy Timber Creek Lodge. You won’t regret it. Come to a place that will welcome you if your heart is in the right place. As others have escaped the big city to seek shelter here for the kind of life and people you won’t meet anywhere else in the world. "A B&B rental. Spacious. Well cared for. Wonderful, large kitchen. Ideal for large parties of family gathering to celebrate- say a 50th birthday- for a family member!"

"This place was very nice, comfortable, accommodating and fun. The soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were of very good quality. It was a great place to have a get together. Some things that I personally think could've had some work were that there was a huge crack on the roof, and it could've been a safety concern, considering the amount of snow. In one of the bedrooms the air vent was broken and you couldn't get it open, even if it could've been opened, by hovering my hand on it, only cold air was coming out. The hot tub had an extremely unsafe amount of chlorine, people in my party had rashes, burns, and discomfort from the chemical. This next point isn't a huge deal, but my husband is a pool aficionado and the pool table is not full size, I wish it was mentioned online. My husband was a little disappointed about it. The WiFi was terrible, it kept disconnecting and didn't work 70% of the time. The TV set up didn't work properly, and it kept on giving errors connection and it made impossible to sign out of Netflix. My overall experience was great, and I do recommend this place, and would rent this place in the future."

"The house was a nice size for 9 adults and 2 children- everything was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked! If you sleep in the master bedroom and are sensitive to light in the morning, bring a sleep mask! We enjoyed the large living room, fire pit, open-concept kitchen, and pool table upstairs. Overall, we were very pleased with this home and greatly enjoyed our stay!"
