"This is such a unique location, and truly an amazing location, good facilities, variety of activities. Glad to have had the opportunity to go. A couple of very practical things shifted my thoughts towards 3/4 stars.... 1.) The staff was wonderful--and yet--didn't seem to know basic things about the hotel...such as...where the pool was, whether there were change rooms or not, and so on; 2.) Not good signage: The hotel is somewhat sprawling, and figuring out where all the rooms, activity centers, pool, meeting rooms, theatres, and different eating spots, is really a challenge. There *are* maps at the front desk, but not in the room, and the staff did not direct us to that. The cleaning and turn-down service, in-room movie service, were *superb*. All in all a wonderful stay and would love to go again."

"Room was absolutely beautiful, amazing view and staff. The spa was phenomenal and absolutely worth every dollar. Pools were relaxing. Only issue was the food left something to be desired with prices considered. The steak house was delicious but not for the price, the steak itself was under seasoning and poorly cooked, however the waitress was amazing. Cut water messed up the breakfast, did leave room for improvement."

"Beautiful facility on the lake in McCall. As far as luxury goes in Idaho this is top notch. Beautiful bar and dining options. Conference rooms are fantastic with good catering. The rooms are just a little behind the rest of the facility but still great. What a treat to stay here."

"Nice Hotel in a great location. Our room overlooked the lake. Cost wise, I don't think it was a tremendous value for the money. It seemed like 5star prices for a 4 star hotel, but then again, its the location. The room could have done with a little work, the flooring was lifting, and there were spots on the walls that could have done with some paint, but overall, it was a good stay"

"We enjoyed the room and the views! We got to the hotel a little early and the gentle man said he'd look to see if our room was ready. We sat and waited for 30 minutes. When it was finally passed 3 we checked in again and got our room. The gentleman must have forgotten to look. I gave a 3 star due to the poor experience at The Cove."
