"The house was really cozy and cute! Had everything we needed for cooking and amenities. There isn't any wifi and service was not great but we weren't there to be on our phones so none of us minded. We will definitely be renting Huckleberry Rose again hopefully this summer!"

"Snowmobile lovers!! Great home and all ground level Kitchen was great except pans. They could be upgraded. Loved being able to ride snowmobiles right from the house to the trail head! Driveway was awesome. Plenty of room for two trucks and a 5 place trailer with understanding there wasn’t a lot of snow this year."

"I strongly advise against using Vacasa! There are many excellent locally-owned vacation management companies that provide stellar service. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Vacasa. While I typically avoid writing negative reviews, I feel compelled to share our Thanksgiving break experience to help fellow vacationers. We booked a property for a 4-night stay, advertised with a pellet stove (the main heat source in the great room area). Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that the pellet stove wouldn't light (later learned it hadn't been serviced since the previous year). Our only alternative for winter warmth was two outdated baseboard heaters, one of which never turned on. After multiple phone calls and hours of dealing with a call center seemingly located outside the US, a gentleman from Vacasa arrived on our second day. He managed to get the stove working temporarily by manually feeding it pellets and advised us to hand-feed it every 10-15 minutes—an impractical vacation activity! Following his departure, the stove began to 'backfire,' emitting explosive smoke into the room, endangering one of our guests standing nearby. We had to discontinue use due to hazardous explosions. Further frustration ensued as we spent more hours on the phone trying to secure assistance from another local Vacasa representative. On the final day of our rental, a Vacasa manager arrived with two space heaters. While initially apologetic, she also lamented that our rental issues disrupted her Thanksgiving dinner the night before. She emphasized numerous times that the lack of assistance from Vacasa was not her fault but a result of disorganization within the company regarding on-call personnel. The numerous excuses and complaints far outweighed her apologies. Although the manager did get the stove working temporarily (by cleaning what she explained was a clogged auger from last year's buildup), it failed again by the next morning—check-out day. Via text, she promised to work on providing us with at least a 10% reimbursement for our four nights, during which we had to endure 80% of our stay wearing outdoor gear indoors when in the great room. Communication from Vacasa ceased, and ultimately we received only a reimbursement of a whopping $57.66."

"We made our reservations 3 weeks ahead of time. One week before I was rushed to the ER and had emergency surgery. I called the next day to let them know we couldn’t make it and what could we do (maybe get a credit?) The lady asked if I bought travel insurance so I could get a partial refund. I didn’t because we were meeting family up there so it was a for sure thing as though I thought. I said I could get a note from the Dr etc saying I wasn’t allowed to travel. She said I’d just have to forfeit my $500. I do understand policies but as a business owner myself I’m always willing to work with customers when tragedy happens. Morals don’t seem to exist anymore."
