"The most ridiculous interview ever. The guy wasted over 2 1/2 hours of my day (including driving 45 min ea way) just to tell me he is NOT currently hiring. It was like I went on a date with someone just to be told that they're not currently looking to date, but just in case they break up 4 months down the road, they want a list of people to be able to call on. Was this joker for real? An absolute joke! And when this guy told me their interview process is a 12-round process, I damn near fell off my chair. Memo to HR - you are NOT Goldman Sachs or Google so stop wasting people's time over a 60K salary. Oh and if you ever find yourself interviewing with Tim Cooper, don't do what I did and allow him to use a voice recorder for the interview, make him take notes. Please do NOT go to work for this guy and his company, I promise you will regret it."

"I was with federate for a year and a half. I have never seen such unethical practices in my entire life. When I cancelled My policy at the beginning of the year, they penalized me the exact amount of what my refund should have been. then when I questioned it the only response I got was "yep that's what we do" and when I talked to the agent Carson Taylor I had to request the break down rather than him being forth coming about all the ridiculous fees they add on. Not only that when i switched to them Carson promised to stay on top of making sure we don't get a huge bill at the end of the year and that was also a lie when they sent me a bill for 15K. On top of all that I made one claim the whole time I was with them, and even that was a headache, it took them several months to issue the claim payout, when asking the agent what was going on he had no clue. Federate Insurance is by far the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. I would never recommend Federate Insurance to any one I care about. They find every reason to Penalize and then the agents don't do their Job. Cant be happier leaving such a crooked Insurance company...."
